Never heard of that before. I hope it doesn't erode the benefits for F/P1/CL - those bottles tend to be very limited.

Do bag drop at Jewel - then you can just walk across the road into T1 (or go through the tunnel).
You can access T1 airside at T1 with a Jetstar boarding pass. Occasionally, security might raise an eyebrow, but just point out you're going to the First Lounge and complain a little bit if they get coughy. One of their colleagues will hopefully put them straight.
