Start again from the start, as the others say, do the planning.
I plan to keep PS by making an annual return flight ADL to MEL/SYD to AKL in J, gives me 10 SC off a guaranteed PS, 240+10 more.
If you are at NB and want to start biting at SG, you could do a return SYD/MEL/BNE to AKL with a QF coded flight, but flying EK in J, or even one way F-120 QF SC one way in F, return J earns you 160, plus a few dom flights and you have gotten 250 which gets you PS, add a J from MEL to SIN, and you could get 700, thats SG, but after SG, it will be hard to get to WP unless someone else is paying, 500 SC to climb from SG to WP.
Edit: another tip, is that if you live in SYD or MEL and don't want to go to NZ, you can still feel the lux of the QFi lounges, by flying (on certain days on JQ), as a dom passenger on a int flight, in J plus bundle. Earns you 1400 QF FF points and 40 QF SC. Only $399 plus $80 for bundling, equals $479 - cheapest J class earning for a QF FF member in Au!
Need photo ID to get through Au immi dep and arr though.
