Flights have been packed on the triangle, so nope. My shadow on dash8’s has dissappeared recently too due to large passenger loads.

Last few weeks all my QF flights have been full too! Very happy I can get my Y+ seats for free

AFAIK, there’s no indication what, if any Y+ will be fitted?

Hopefully not the same as the AY birds, that have extra legroom seats in the first few rows BUT only in the middle!

I'm in QF81 in some weeks and currently it is an ex AY bird with row 31 being the start of economy.

I suspect the PE configuration allows the extra legroom seats in the middle but not the aisle.

We’re on QF104 in a few weeks (ex AY bird). Have selected a window / aisle pair (row 32) but they’re not EL but hoping to move to row 31 bulkhead seats at T-80.

For now Row 32 to 36 middle banks of 4 are EL. 2” more I believe but we don’t want to sit in the middle…

and Row 4 gets blocked - seems to be the standard at the moment.

It might open up very close to departure but Row 5 is just fine. We were there yesterday in adjacent aisle seats.

It depends on the flight. But on flights where its not 90%+ full, I've had reasonable amounts of shadows. Especially since its usually 2 WPs now in the Y+ seats both having shadows.

I momentarily had what I thought was a double shadow on a flight yesterday. At first I thought a couple had plonked themselves in the window/middle (5A/B) but EF was showing both seats blocked but no where else on the plane was blocked - other than the exit rows.

Didn’t last long before there was someone in the window seat and the middle became unblocked. No idea what was going on.

Anyway, the middle remained empty (as did SYD+1’s over on the DEF side.

We've been seated in row 5 a number of times now. It's been really good having a bit more space with flettyJnr on our lap - makes a big difference to be honest.

I had the opposite, we had 1 Gold and 1 Silver and at T24 (CheckIn), those seats seemed available but it then says 'not eligible' (for Silver - the Gold person could select those seats for free)
So it seems at T24, only the Gold status traveller gets those seats for free and anyone else on the booking is not able to reserve them online or via app at T24.
Unless we were just unlucky this weekend that even though those seats were available, we could not select them online/via app

Well my partner is Bronze
And I was able to seat us together in Row 5 after some messy way of going about it. Had to do the switcheroo one by one. Move one then refresh then move the other one

This sounds like a logistics glitch of sorts as I would like to “move both at the same time. Not one after the other …
