Qantas Economy Plus Launching Feb 2026

Just sat down on XZP which has been reconfigured. Row 1 has masses of legroom and row 4 about the same as it use to. So probably that’s a bsi thing.

No cabin divider either. Thought I suspect because the business cabin has moved back it’s to difficult to move the divider on the bsi aircraft (plus VXC) as it’s actually attached to the luggage bin to pivot down.

You can just make out the residue from the adhesive where it was attached which if it was still installed would be over row 3’s headrest.
Yep I saw that todayv
My two 737 flights over the past couple of days have been on the new config. The usual old hanging perspex divider was in place between J and the newly cavernous row 4. Perhaps some aircracft had them temporarily removed for some reason. FWIW both flights were on non-BSI aircraft.

I had 5A on both flights with a 5B shadow in both cases. Only a smattering of other empty seats, including a few other forward middle seats, presumably also shadows.

As a newly minted WP I'm of course happy with the additional legroom at no extra cost. But for many years as a SG doing too many Golden Triangle flights in Y, I benefitted from getting seats in rows 4 - 8 on most flights at T-80 - and strategically getting plenty of de-facto shadows when there's a higher status pax in the row. I guess T-24 is the new T-80 for Golds.
I think so
