The chicken curry has been on high rotation of late along with the sausage roll. New addition: a thousand dollar+ chicken pie (didn’t take a photo).

Gosh, it’s been so long since I ordered a gin and tonic, I’m glad you asked.Didn't know where to ask, hopefully here is ok.
Does Qantas still serve spirits in Business Class (Transcon if that makes a difference), or only beer and wine? Ta
A few weeks ago they were only serving beer and wine. I haven't heard that this has changed.Didn't know where to ask, hopefully here is ok.

No spirits on trans-Tasman either. Didn't even get a welcome drink on my last two flights which really was a loss imo. But then on the flight itself at least, ample wine and proper French Champagne was served. No spirits on my recent flights.
Same. Hopefully later in the year they can give me a G+T in the air again.Gosh, it’s been so long since I ordered a gin and tonic, I’m glad you asked.

Thanks guys. That's a shame, hopefully they come back soon.No spirits on my recent flights.
I doubt that sorry. Aviation is in big trouble without a bailout now.Same. Hopefully later in the year they can give me a G+T in the air again.

Didn't I read somewhere that Qantas in particular got plenty of bailout already...?I doubt that sorry. Aviation is in big trouble without a bailout now.
IMO it really is time to let insolvency laws govern the outcome at Qantas - i tend to think there is too much rot, and resistance to change, and it could all be cleared out, with a good old spring clean up in bankruptcy.Didn't I read somewhere that Qantas in particular got plenty of bailout already...?
Any hint as to which champagne that is?No spirits on trans-Tasman either. Didn't even get a welcome drink on my last two flights which really was a loss imo. But then on the flight itself at least, ample wine and proper French Champagne was served.
Still the same it was pre Coivd- either Jacquart Brut Mosaique or Duval-Leroy. I personally prefer the latter but they're both fine.Any hint as to which champagne that is?I’ve booked SYD-ZQN for February next year so am somewhat interested.
I got lunch at 9am when I last flew (admittedly back in late July, so things may have changed). That was Cairns to Brisbane. Is 11am - 1.30pm still the correct departure window for lunchtime catering on domestic flights? Considering changing a booking to 11am and don't want to wind up with the dreaded snack...
