Nothing about either of those breakfast offerings sounds good; Me thinks they should have just used the egg yolks from the tarts to make it an actual omelette.

Agreed with those above, I'd be so disappointed if I was served this on a flight which regularly costs ~$600.

Seriously, not just a roll, some prosciutto and a bit of lettuce ...

Oh yes, no denial that the QF catering is hitting new lows. I used to dislike that they provided tiny water bottles for pre departure, now that’s also gone.

Other than a bigger seat, seriously not worth the upgrade or the cash on Business fares when VA will at least give you something a bit more substantial for that time of the day.

At least if I get a bad VA Dom J flight/meal I can console myself by thinking about what the equivalent QF J Dom fare price would have been.

We moved on to the 10am departure at the airport to give us more time in Sydney and fly on the A321. Very lucky that 2AC were available. Boarding was completed 12 minutes early but left over 50 minutes late due to traffic.

Christopher led the cabin with a woman who had turned her name tag the other way. (incidentally he was the CSM on the A321 inaugural passenger service too and was equally and the service on that flight was poor too). Business was full of dead heading cabin crew and a pilot.

Food options were Egg white omelette or a mushroom tart. Both had the omelette which was tasty.

However, plan is to well and truly pig out in the first lounge in Sydney and on the plane to Singapore later so we only nibbled on the omelette.
