I didn’t eat dinner, but I noticed that the dinner menu is different from the one posted upthread, so leaving it here for anyone curious.



The breakfast menu seemed unchanged (I don’t have a picture of that, sorry)

MEL-SYD 1:30pm ... Lunch going by the chocolate:

Options were "Tandoori Pie" or "Ploughmans Plate". I had the latter:



That was all I really needed after a Spice Bar bowl in the lounge. It was fine with the ham being the standout, Prosciutto was bland.

I believe all the Tokyo flights have the same menus? If so, I’m on NRT-BNE soon, so I can post the menu for both directions then.

Good to hear that the beef was excellent - that's a tough (pun intended) thing to achieve on board an aircraft, in any class of service.

Looking at that plate, there doesn't appear to be much sauce, so I'd have thought the dish would eat a bit dry.

The Japanese set menu was excellent - not too heavy for a pre-sleep meal, and the fish was done well. If you’re looking for a substantial meal though, I wouldn’t say that this was particularly filling.
