Yes economy. A330 and 787 the way forward for Qantas. Oh dear. Miss the 747 and A380.

A380 will fly to SIN regularly and HKG seasonlly. Shame that departure times for the latter is too early in both ends to maximise lounge benefits.

I know they do but at the moment Qantas is charging a premium for the A380 in economy. Not sure about business class.

Having just got off QF20 overnight from MNL on VH-EBR, I can say I will try to avoid doing red eye’s in the A330 Y from now on. Wasn’t comfortable by any stretch of the imagination (and I had a window seat so I could lean against the bulkhead)

I suspect that's just because there are a limited number of seats sold to SIN as they prefer to sell all the way to LHR

Beat me to it. It's not really an A380 surcharge JohnK, just a QF1/QF2 surcharge. For obvious reasons, they want to keep as many of those seats as possible available to people continuing on to LHR.
