Points posting delays since new website

Are domestic JQ flights also treated as partner flights and subject to the long delays?

I took a couple of JQ flights 7 days ago and neither has posted. These flights will tip me over to Gold so I'm quite keen to get them credited. I emailed the boarding pass and eticket for one of the flights to QFF 4 days ago but nothing has happened.

JQ flights often take 14 days to credit.

Don't worry, once you tick over to SG any flights after the qualifying flight will be adjusted.

Thanks serfty. I had a feeling that that was the likely case.

At the extreme, it makes it interesting though where somebody retrospectively claims a flight 11 months after the flight, especially where that flight was taken near the end of a membership year. Crediting to a membership year that ended 11 months earlier is an interesting exercise.
Not sure you can put in a rretro claim that later.

In any case such crediting is accompanied by a double dagger footnote.

I think that claims for flights can be made up to 12 months after the flight. Clause 7.3(a) provides:

7.3 Each Member is responsible for regularly checking their Membership account and must:
(a) notify Qantas of any omissions, incorrect entries or other discrepancies within twelve months of the applicable flight;

The drop-down list for flight date on the Claim Missing Points page also goes back 12 months (with the month drop down currently having December 2012 to December 2013 as available options).

However, that notwithstanding, as you have pointed out, it is the double dagger that would appear to thwart attempts to creatively shift status credits into later membership years.
