Agree. "love" and "hug" are two very different actions.

Younever use "love" to express sympathy, which is what the "hug" is for.

I'll take this thread under advisement, but best practice is to "like" – or anything else – the first post instead of replying. Replies with ideas are great, but I'll look at the number of reactions a post gets to prioritise my time... along with anything else I have ongoing as well of course.

On the subject of what icon, which I do encourage discussion of, it is important to note that many of the icons @serfty has posted are not free for us to use. I have to choose carefully to make sure I am not stealing someone's work.

A further consideration is to keep the reactions in line with either what is the standard look and feel, or what was available before. This lead me to the two icons that were enabled yesterday. I do not want to have a wild mix of icons that don't resemble each other.

Also note that it's not as simple as simply flicking a switch, they currently do not exist on the system and need to be created and tested.
