Not if you are a P1 and beaten to Row 1 or 4 by a minion WP !!

There's always a downside

I'm usually able to snare an A330 across the ditch (or fly SQ or LAN!) so the 737 'glitch' doesn't affect me. But yep, it's a good benefit for WPs. Presumably applies to other 737 international services?

I believe at least some other international 737 services have this 'feature'

Actually, it's really the other way around.

Until the introduction of the 789's, WP on any QF international flight could select front row seating in their booked cabin. It was only early this year that this malaise spread to 330's.

No issues with this last Sunday nor in other recent flights at T-80
