Hello everyone, I'm travelling MEL-SIN on QF reaching SIN at 22:30, connecting to DEL via KUL on MH at 06:30 AM next day.

Are there any lounges where I could spend the night and refresh before heading out next morning ? I'm QF Gold.

I rang up MH to check if they've got any 24 hour lounges in SIN (as my next flight is on MH) - no luck there

I looked up lounges on the OW website, found some lounges, however, the QF lounge closes at 11 PM, followed by CX lounge at 3:00 AM.

There is SATS Premier in T3 and T2, which are 24 hour lounges. But I was only able to find contact number for SATS in T3 and was informed that SATS at T3 not for OW members and SATS T2 was. However, there is no phone number for T2 on the internet.

When speaking to T3, I asked if I could be connected - no luck there and they said they can't share T2's phone number due to privacy (?) issues :)

Has anyone spent the night in SIN airport ? Any lounges available ?

Thanks in advance
Ade

Theres an airport hotel chain (name escapes me) that you cab book rooms for short stints that's airside that's quite reasonable price wise and I'm pretty sure there's a priority pass affiliated arrivals lounge that also allows to book sleep rooms for eg 3 hours plus (can't recall if airside or landside)

Thank you for your response @Bell21. I think you’re referring to Ambassador transit hotel.

I’ll take note of this option too, however, I’m keen on not spending money on a transit hotel and was thinking I may be to use any 24 hour lounges.

I might be incorrect, but I was thinking that my QF Gold could land me a free lounge to hang out for the night :)

Have you looked at the arrivals lounge if you can access it - probably won't get free access but I don't recall rooms being relatively too expensive

Re arrival louges : let me check.
Re rooms being not expensive : let me look into Changi airport website and see how much the rooms are. From memory, they’re around SG$50 for a night.

I can't recall $ but recall you can book sleepers for 3 hours plus and that includes a meal (If you look on booking.com or related sites you may find cheaper access rates to this lounge and also that transit hotel)

I think MH may have given you false information. Unless things have changed MH use the SATS lounge in T2 which is 24hrs

Thank you. That’s exactly what I asked to MH customer service and I was told that’s not the case.

So I’m thinking - As I’m booking is done via Qantas website, under one PNR, Qantas should be able to provide me with all boarding passes when I depart from Australia.

Upon landing in SIN I’ll make my way to SATS T2 and see how I go. They might deny entry stating that the flights are technically tomorrow. In which case I’ll have sit out until it’s 12:00 AM and then try gaining access

More likely they will deny access until you obtain a lounge invitation. It’s a contract lounge, so you’ll likely need one. And you’ll only get that from the MH transit counter, when it opens.

Thanks for that info. I’ll check w/ MH transit desk.

Which might be closed until 2-3 hours before the first MH flight of the day.

AFAIK, there are no 24 hours oneworld lounges at Changi.

You might make the CX lounge in T4 until it closes at 01:00.

I was in a similar position earlier this year, looking for a lounge for an overnight transit.
The best I could find was a PP lounge (opposite the EK lounge) that is 24 hour, they have some "lounging" areas that you have to book and were taken when I got there. Not sure if it's changed though.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Most likely, I'd go w/ the option of booking in a transit hotel for roughly about SG$60. I will update this thread how I go.

Cheers :)

I'm staying in the SIN airport hotel overnight later this year which should be good, as it's frequently rated the best airport hotel globally from what I can gather

Years ago (when QF and BA still liked each other), I had an 8 sector trip from HEL with the last two long sectors NRT-SIN-PER. Late evening JL arrival into SIN, morning QF departure to PER.
At the time, CX used the now T1 Danta lounge. I spent the night there (after pointing out that the QF lounge was closed).
