Outlook Express..anyone else having problems??[Major Telstra Bigpond Outage]

Since some time last night I cannot accesss/send/receive e-mails... nor can I get in to "My Account" on Telstra.com to backdoor it...

Anyone else having problems? I have no dramas with normal net access (clearly, as I am posting here :mrgreen - it is just the e-mails side of things...

Yes Trooper it is broken for us over in Perth since yesterday afternoon.

Broken for me as well. But this is a bigpond problem isn't it, not outlook. Died for me at about 18:00 CDT. Managed to get off a vital email from my phone to my work email. Damn lucky as I had promised someone some urgent information.

Can't access my bigpond emails on Mail or via the Bigpond site clearly broken Telstra issue at least for my account. On the upside I can't get anymore Tickemaster emails to shows they would have to pay me to sit through

Bigpond email has been taken offline due to a privacy breach. An internal website was made public, and it seems they have taken a whole pile of stuff offline in response.

Yep, wasted an hour last night endeavouring to get SWMBO's email working.

I then checked the Status page: http://servicestatus.bigpond.com/servicestatus/BigPond.com/current.do

It seems to be the front end, not the back end as my bigpond emails are auto forwarded to my workplace email and they are still coming through.

it was quite pleasant without them really............saved me doing a whole lot of work, and let me do 5 loads of washing instead...........now i'll have to do all that work tomorrow......what did we do before emails and internet, i can't quite remember.........
