But AY and IB are in that same partnership and QF only passes thru US$105 and US$150 respectively. Not US$1500!

Going back to POC; when searching it is needed. Sometimes you see less availability on some routes, sometimes more, but the agent you call to make changes to a booking will generally only see availablity for bookings from the port your itinerary commences

Hi I've been told that below itinerary (all business class flights) needs over 454,000 points. Why not capped at 365,800 points? Could anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong please?

1) Perth-Sydney (QF)
2)Sydney-Honolulu (AS)
3)Honolulu-Los Angeles (AS)
4)Los Angeles-Miami (AA)
5)Miami-Lima (AA)
-----own transfer as system doesn't allow me to fly from Lima-----

I need to come back to Perth however this is the itinerary I could secure so far. I checked distance and it's about 21000miles and only 3 stops.
The airlines I'm using is Qantas, Alaska, and American.

Is it true that Alaska airline doesn't have Business class? (Only Economy and First?) even though it says as business on Qantas website....

Have you confirmed the qantas sectors are classic awards (lowest level) and not classic plus?

Alaska airlines, like all US carriers, brand their front cabin on 2-class aircraft as ‘First’, even though it is a business class product. It is sold and marketed as business class for award purposes. So you’ll pay business class, but get seated in first.

(select AA flights offer three classes of service with first, business and economy cabins, for now, but that’s getting phased out)

Hard to offer advice here.

There’s the double listing as noted by @sudoer plus you say it’s three stopovers but it’s not clear where those stopovers are.

As presented, I’m inclined to agree with @MEL_Traveller that you may have a AS First cabin booking in there.

The other possible issue is three stopovers in LAX, though I suspect that may be a typo.
