So big celebration last night QF WP?
Hardly, I wish I was still that young - but you've still got years on me ;) :D

You'll keep, QF WP :p. The sticker is still on the other one, then?
The sticker is still on both of them - it was on the RHS in the photo - your eyesight must be going as well  ;)

The bubbles on both sectors was Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2004.
I enjoyed that and a glass or two of the PHI Chardonnay on the first sector and switched to RWT for DXB-LHR.
Galleries F has Taittinger Rosé and Prelude. ImageUploadedByAustFreqFly1427035034.923186.jpg CCR update coming up soon.

Good to see the Noble One onboard. It started out being only available in the SYD Flounge.

Good to see that they bubbles are on ice. When I first visited that place 3 years ago the bubbles were merely sitting in the cool basin and were barely cool.

Any standouts in their line-up? Had a 2010 Bella's Garden at a restaurant in Noosa that was a standout. Posted a 2013 Angel's Share recently that was surprisingly oak dominant, even the next day. Nothing like the fruit forward 2012 Angel's (McLaren) and Gnarly Dudes (Barossa) I got for the cellar. How did you rate the Ares?

Personally I liked the '13 Lily's over the Bella's. The Ares was awesome, but no way I could justify spending $165, or even the discounted $145.

As a side note, Mark advised us that they had just pulled their range from Dan's.

Both bottles had attended the Penfolds Clinics in 2000/01 and had good provenance. Hope you have yours well looked after...

I got my 76 from Langtons last year and it had just been to the Penfolds clinic. It's been in my Vintec since.

I have also got a 79 for my girlfriend but it hasn't been to the clinic. It has a good level, no cork movement and no leakage so here's hoping

Looks like someone beat me to it. I must preferred the previous vintage Bella to the Lily, but this year the Lily wins hands down. We were lucky to take the Ares home for $100 so I'm definitely looking forward to drinking it in a few years. The Aprodite was equally delicious when we tried it in January.

As for Dans, there may be some stock left in some stores but it won't be restocked.
