My husband and I are travelling to Europe next year, first leg - Syd - Sing is SQ Bus Class.
Does this mean I can use the Krisflyer Business Lounge at Sydney Airport before we leave Syd?
And is that the only lounge we're allowed to use? (I'm seeing references to the Air NZ lounge).
What time can I use it from,(we thought if we can, to have breakfast there.)

THEN - we're flying Air France bus to Paris.
Does that mean I can use a business lounge in Singapore? and whos do I use? Krisflyer or Air France?
Sorry for the dumb questions, there's always gotta be a first time.

Thanks,
Jenny

Yes.
In general you can check-in at 3hours before flight. So with say 20min to clear immigration and security, you'd have about 2 hours in the lounge.

Yes again.
You'd use AirFrance nominated lounge which is dnata in T3 (no lounges by SkyTeam members in SIN)

Thankyou, as I thought. Didn't want to look like a complete idiot.

Wonder why the :( face by DC3?

Possible reference to the third-party lounge at SIN? In general they aren't brilliant.

On the way back assuming same airlines, it would be the AirFrance lounge in Paris and SQ SikverKris in Singapore

As a general rule, a business class boarding pass will get you entry to any business class lounge operated by any airline within the same alliance.

Singapore airlines and Air New Zeland are both star alliance. So your SQ business class bvoarding pass will get you entry to SQ or NZ's lounge in Sydney.

Air France is skyteam.

Qantas and the like are Oneworld.

So in SYD you can use SQ or NZ.
In SIN you could, in theory, use any skyteam lounge, except they don't have any. So you're limited to the DNATA lounge.

On the way home you could use any skyteam lounge in Paris (although it will be Air France in this case), and then in SIN you can use any star alliance lounge. Which includes SQ and Thai.

Yes, you're probably right. Lol, I'm not that much of a snob...ha ha. As it's my very first bus. class flight, and therefore lounge visit, I'm going to think the view from the bathroom is fantastic. ha ha.
