Yip - short and sharp 3 weeks - I have two stays coming up ... with the double points promotion (if they eventually post from my early June nights) it's somewhat lucrative, even if I only value HHonors points at up to ½¢ each ...

Finally the old and tired minds at HH came out with an interesting double promo.
I have a couple of bookings with SPG for that period and now considering to cancel and book with Hilton.

I have an award stay at Hampton Inn Newport East during the period costing 5,000 points. With the 5,000 bonus points and 1,000 diamond bonus they are paying me to stay there.

Might need to get a second room for the kids for even more points.

I think it does.

Reports on flyertalk of people receiving the 5k bonus already even for stays completed a few hrs before registering for the promo.

These promos always seem to be short notice. What about most people who book travel well in advance?

Like with previous HH promos, I believe this one also applies to stays within the promo period, regardless of when the bookings were made.

Yes ... no problem ... although i did have to select the hamburgers. ..

As for the captcha, it's presence/complexity seems to realte to the ip of the Internet connection you are using.

Usually Yes, provided you register before the end of your first stay.

I have one stay and another just 4 days outside promo period......oh, well....let's just hope this is a sign of a return to HH offering a few concurrent promos. It's almost starting to remind me of a few years back!

For reference, I just received the 5k bonus on a two night stay booked 6 months ago with checkout Thursday morning and registration Thursday night. Very lucky with the promo timing as I have another two Hilton group stays in the next week, although 15k HH is pretty worthless to me now after the great devaluation.
