Shouldnt it show as QP PS rather than QP NB?

In reality (or at least my version thereof), it should be showing QP WP, but I don't like my chances of that :p

I'd say because they haven't attained enough SC for PS.

Edit: beaten, by the drive into the office!

My mistake - I really thought that QC membership gave you PS status as well. Colour me incorrect (again).

I think you may be thinking it in terms of what 'level' in the program you are considered, QP is considered to be the same level as PS in terms of seating allocation.

My QC expires in February 2008. How can I join the corporate program then? Or can I do it earlier?

I am interested in converting my existing membership over. What do I do next? regards Paul R

As I understand the QF Club rules, any group of 10 (or more) members can qualify for the "standard" corporate rate. The equates to a $200 saving per person per year.

See Flying with Us - Qantas Club - Membership Types - Corporate Membership

As an additional service to our online community, I'm happy to co-ordinate a frequentflyer.com.au "individually managed" Corporate membership, if we get enough interest (ie. 10 or more members).

Please note:

1) Any contract (and exchange of money) will be between you and Qantas. You will (obviously) be responsible for your membership fee. We are just setting up a corporate scheme so members of frequentflyer.com.au can qualify for a corporate rate.

2) Please read the details about "Individually Managed" schemes on the Qantas website at Flying with Us - Qantas Club - Membership Types - Corporate Membership

3) To set up the scheme, I'll need your completed application forms so that I can submit them in a single batch to Qantas. I will also need the payment you'll be making to Qantas. This can be either a cheque made out to Qantas or your credit card number. Again, payment is to Qantas not us.

4) We will not be charging for this service - it will be free to all registered members of our online community.

If you are interested, Private Message (PM) me with your details. If we have sufficient interest, I'll then get back to you with the next steps.

The struggle was to find 10 new members as the initial 10 had to be new memberships and not renewals of existing memberships. So now that the corporate program has been established, existing members can take advantage of it for their renewals. So I expect there will now be quite a few people who can benefit from the AFF corporate membership for their Qantas Club renewals.

Firstly, I'd like to thank the 11 (yes, 11 - we ended up with one more than the required minimum!) "Founding" members of our corporate scheme. I realise you took a bit of a punt as you had to provide payment details whilst we were not 100% sure of getting the scheme off the ground. But it paid off for you all and you can now enjoy your $200 saving! A fair reward indeed.:D

We will be making an announcement shortly for those who wish to join our scheme (either as a new QF member or to renew their existing QF Club membership under our scheme) and enjoy the savings which come with being part of a corporate scheme.

Thanks again to the "Fab 11" who made it possible!

Anyone have any idea as to how long it will be before Membership Kits are received?

Congrats Admin, It's great that this scheme happened.

For those wondering about the Qantas Club kits, they should arrive in about 7-14 days. However, if you need to visit the Qantas lounge before then, just jot down your FF number and get the desk person to check your status. You'll be into the lounge in no time!

Yes. We are just waiting for the full documentation from Qantas before we make the announcement.

Essentially all our GOLD subscribers will have an additional benefit - access to our Corporate Qantas Club program. This will amount to a savings of $200 when initially joining the program, and a saving of $70 per year when renewing Qantas Club membership.

Thanks for the advice of quoting the FF number at the lounge if we don't get the kits in time for our next trip.
I'm flying out this Friday and was starting to feel anxious!
Feels great to be a founding member.

Well done Clifford on a introducing a significant benefit to members of this forum.

I have the feeling that many subscribers to this QP membership facility will be on a stepping stone to ongoing elite status.

Cheers ... :D
