I did that survey as well - it would certainly be a more attractive option for many people if you could earn on all fruit and veg, as long as the regular price isn't increased to compensate! ( I didn't end up unsubscribing after all, as I ended up - finally - winning a $50 gift card, so I thought I'd stick with it a little bit longer LOL)

Congratulations on your win.

Congratulations on your win.

Thanks :) . At around the same time, I won a $400 Wish gift card in an RAC competition as well - I never win ANYTHING, so was pretty happy with that! The gift cards couldn't have come at a better time after having some major medical expenses in December.

One of the recent surveys I did with "At home" was on a possible promotion that Woolworths Rewards might end up running. It involved getting Woolworths Dollars for transactions involving a certain amount of any fruit and vegetables. I have no idea whether this will be a targeted offer or a general feature of the program. It should be useful for customers who buy most of their fruit and vegetables from Woolworths and might make customers feel they are being rewarded for everyday items rather than specific products with the orange tickets.

Woolworths have implemented the promotion discussed above. At the moment it is a limited time period but appears to be open to all members as it is mentioned in the catalogue which starts tomorrow.

I am now officially part of the My Table community. I was part of the "At Home" community which was run by the same organisation as "My Table". The website was funded and sponsored by Woolworths to get feedback on ideas for the future. "At home" will be closed soon and all the members were offered the opportunity to become part of "My Table" Hopefully "My Table" has gift card draws each month. I used to win a couple of $20 egiftcards a year. Hopefully this will continue.

Woolworths eventually admitted their reasons for starting the communities but I'd mostly figured things out from the surveys and other activities. Below is an extract from the email received explaining what was going on with the forums.

"The At Home Community was originally set up to help Woolworths make decisions about their home and outdoor companies – Big W and Masters. You are probably aware that these businesses have changed a lot over the past few years and as such there has been a decision to close the community."

"My Table is a community all about food and beverages! You will be joining a great group of members to participate in interesting research activities on a variety of topics - giving your valued thoughts and opinions on things like new product development, packaging, promotions and advertising. It is brought to you by Woolworths and helps them make decisions for their supermarket and liquor divisions."

I used to get lots of alcohol surveys from "At home" so I think there was lots of overlap between the communities anyway. There used to be other communities but they started combining them in the last few years. Is anyone here still doing the "My Table" surveys and activities?

I guess they will also have the surveys on Woolworths Rewards and other loyalty ideas. It's a great way to get sneak peaks of what they propose for the loyalty games.

Same here - I received the email about the closure of "At Home" a couple of days ago, so thought I might as well give "My Table" a try, will be interesting to see what it's like. I rarely ever won anything through the "At Home" community, so maybe I'll have better luck with "My Table" LOL. I didn't get to do a lot of surveys - as I don't drink, I screened out of all the alcohol ones!

Haven't won anything from the 'At Home' surveys...see what happens with the new mob

They obviously didn't want any oldies.I always had the survey drop out when I entered my age. After about the 4th email I was disappeared from the community.

I do surveys on a couple of different sites and notice I've screened out of a LOT more surveys since turning 50 this year.

I was on At Home (and its predecessor) for about 2 years.

Never won anything at all in that time, so it was a complete waste of time in my perspective; least generous survey mob I've come across. As such ignored the invitation to continue.

Never won anything at all in that time

Never EVER participate in a panel or other feedback system where you have a CHANCE of winning something. It never favours YOU, it always favours THEM. They want info, they pay for it. End of story.

I see Carman's does this, and I now boycott their products (they, not "her" - the so called brand ambassador).

I did a survey recently for "My Table" discussing possible changes to the Woolworths Rewards program. There might be some changes to the way accounts are treated in regards to family grouping. There were two ideas being proposed, one is similar to the flybuys system of secondary cardholders but the targeted offers going to the first cardholder only.

The second idea proposed was separate accounts for each family member but points being pooled to the primary card holder in the family. They claimed this idea would still allow personalised targeted offers to each family member. The second idea allows for linking with members from different addresses. This means they might still offer a range of targets between the family members but I'm not sure I really trust the system. I think I'd rather keep mine separate for the time being.

If you had multiple QFF accounts in the family it would make sense to keep the accounts separate. If you wanted points from all family members to end up in the same QFF account then it would work well. I don't think anyone will be forced to use the linked accounts or membership options, it will be a case of "share" if you want to. This last bit is speculation by me based on the way the survey was worded.

Found that survey to be one of their 'better' ones. At least they're thinking a bit outside the square

I got my first egiftcard from the MyTable community last week. I'm glad I was still lucky enough to get a card. I wasn't getting many survey opportunities so I didn't think I had much chance. Hopefully I can still earn about the same as I did from the At Home community.
