Has anybody signed up for this 'wonder product' that was featured in this week's Frequent Flyer Gazette? (how to earn $20K in 20 days or money back?)

I'm sure members would be interested to hear from people who are finding that it works and the money is 'pouring' in! :D

What do you have to do I wonder?

If it sounds to be good to be true, then it most likely is.

It's just one of several questionable products promoted on aff if you ask me.

Clever marketing! No thanks. If it was that easy everyone would be doing it. One would guess that it will require a whole lot more capital upfront than the original purchase price of the "wonder product"....

I thought one of the benefits of Gold Membership to AFF was the removal of all advertisments, INCLUDING shameless plugs for 'Get Rich Quick' schemes?!

If someone posts on the forum about these schemes, then gold members will see it. The OP is referring to "frequent flyer gazette" rather than the general fora.

I don't see any ads on AFF as a gold member

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

I understand that, but the original advertisement appeared in email distributed by the owners/managers/facilitators of AFF.

As a Gold Member I am also pleased to not be plagued by ads, however I consider this advertisement (as it appeared in the last edition of the AFF Gazette) a form of advertising. I hope you understand the point I'm trying to make.

Gold member or no gold member, I would have hoped the owners of aff would have more integrity than to advertise such cough on their website, or to insult the intelligence of those who use the forum.

Not really; Frequent Flyer Gazette is separate to the fora isn't it . I am not up on what the advert is since I don't receive the gazette. Gold membership, afaik, doesn't include a separate gazette

Let me make a few comments:

Firstly, yes - a paid advertisement was distributed in the Frequent Flyer Gazette newsletter. The Gazette is a free service, and is funded by advertising, which appears in every edition. So, there is nothing unusual about this.

(In fact, you will find advertisements in all free newslettters, not just from The Australian Frequent Flyer. Sadly, there is "no such thing as a free lunch". Money is required to cover the various costs associated with preparing, editing and distributing the newsletter).

The advertised product meets our criteria in that it doesn't promote violence, hatred, racism. It doesn't give you cancer and is not bad for your health. Its also 100% legal. Some might find the product "dodgy". Well, thats their opinion - don't buy it. Others, no doubt, have purchased it and are presumeably happy with their purchase.

Finally, GOLD members of our discussion board never see any advertising on the Discussion Board. Period.

Here's what appeared in the F/F Gazette (below). To me, it looks like a personal recommendation from a reliable source ie. our e-mailed member's Gazette not a 'paid advertisement'! Can we make the ads look like ads in future and not part of the monthly write up? I took it as a 'personal recommendation' so thought it must be ok, hence my original question.

Footnote
I don't usually pass on these kinds of messages - but this one seems too good to be true. How about earning $20,000 in just 20 days - or your money back, guaranteed! If this is of interest to you, then read on ...

One of the most successful UK Internet marketers is a guy who goes by the name of Michael Green. Michael is very good at creating products that are easy to use, and which work. His latest is something very special indeed.
It is a system that promises to teach you, step-by-step how he made $20,000 in 20 days. Incredibly, Michael makes a guarantee that if you fail to make $20,000 in 20 days after following his plan, he will refund every penny of the cost of the course.
Many courses like this are thinly-disguised ads for a range of extra products you have to buy to make the system work. That can vastly multiply the cost to you. But Michael Green's 20/20 course isn't like that - he tells me that the only things you'll need to spend money on are a domain name and hosting. Probably less than $20 if you don't already have them.
The product has just launched, which means that you can buy it at a huge discount.

This is a fair comment. I will endevour to ensure this happens in future

Reminds me of one of the state Consumer bureaux that did an ad a few years ago.. "we promise you can cut your bills in half!"

Thwn when you ordered they sent you a pair of scissors and a letter advising you about scams.

What Frequent Flyer Gazette?

I haven't received one via Email for 2 or three years ...

You probably didn't click on the 'renew subscription' button a while back to confirm your e-mail and membership.............

Why doesn't Homer just hit Burns from behind and take his wallet.

This is exactly how I interpreted it as well, and thought it quite strange. It was designed to look and flow exactly like the text of the gazette, and it looks like a recommendation from the gazette, rather than paid advertising.

When first read it I thought the same, but then realised it must be paid advertising, so it didn't really bother me. And really, many users of AFF are savvy enough to navigate there way around FF schemes (!), I am sure they are savvy enough to cope with a scheme such as the one being promoted.
