Meet A Moderator (QF WP), Perth, Sun 23rd and Tues 25th May 21

[QF WP]

Here comes my first trip to Perth for 18 months, thanks to COVID19.

I'm flying over on Sunday 23rd May (BNE/PER via QF's DSC of course) and staying in the Hilton Sunday, Monday & Tuesday nights; then DT Northbridge on Wednesday night. I already have events on Monday and Wednesday nights, so can't do them. Arrival on Sunday is scheduled at 4.10pm, so 6pm should suit both nights.

So I'll link all the previous interested people and they can express their interest. Will update this post with date, venue and time.

If I read this correctly, it's either Sunday or Tuesday night. I'm almost certainly good for Sunday, perhaps a tad less so for Tuesday.

If there is a largish number, I think The Royal is a reasonable option as it's quite spacious. I think Mr Walker may be a bit on the small side inside. Last time we sat outside - but that was summer and not really an option now.

Actually I didn't receive a notification from the original post, but only from this one.

I'm out. I'll be in the sunny NT that week (unless Covid ruins my plans). Will be my first flight since Feb 2020! I'm concerned I'll have forgotten what to do and be one of those annoying folks at the security check

Sunday night works well for me, I’ll check in, drop my bags and find my way there.

@11sjw, I still have it - as I never got to give it to @bossreggie. My wife hates it - but I've worn it to some "fancy dress" events and when I've been in the garden working in winter. Great choice
