Don't think so... I've just signed up for the promo to see the list but I don't know any of the restaurants on that list other than Vue de Monde which isn't exactly somewhere for a casual Thurs evening meal, and Squires Loft in South Yarra which is just a tad out of the way for where you are.

Will ring MoVida up to make a booking for 6 pax when their office opens at 10am.
 
Unfortunately MoVida is booked out. They suggested MoVida Next Door (same address) that doesn't take bookings and operates on a walk-in basis.

MoVida Next Door - 1 Hosier Lane, Melbourne
(Corner of Hosier Lane and Flinders St, between Swanston and Russell)

If everyone is happy with this, I will see y'all there at 6-6.30pm. :)

QF009 rang me this morning and told me the change which suits me.

Sounds good to me and I would expect to be there on time or even earlier, as I finished my last appointment at 4pm and am now sitting relaxing in the Hilton South Wharf's Exec Lounge...pure bliss.

I'll be walking from here at 6pm (maybe running looking at the weather), so see you all there at 6.30 or shortly thereafter...
 
Was nice to meet everyone, and looking forward to seeing some of you again next Sat!

It was my first time dining at MoVida Next Door, and so glad the suggestion wasn't a lemon! As good as any tapas bar in Madrid! Advice to anyone contemplating dinner there: persistence pays off. If you can't get a table at MoVida, just barge your way into MoVida Next Door like we did and the staff will sort you out. ;)

LW - I hope your head isn't too sore after all those mojitos. :p

Funnily enough, my 2 PB's for the GCC have been on night's out...:!: :shock:

On the contrary, I am offended that the offer of a chauffeured ride in my BMW 1 series limo, which was painstakingly cleaned out in preparation of this Solemn Occassion, was most unceremoniously declined. :shock::(:(;)
