Well done, NM, a significant milestone for yet another extremely valuable contributor.

I remember seeing your stats soon after you joined and thought how funny it was that you had fewer posts than I did. I knew it wouldn't last, and I was certainly right about that!

Kind of how I feel about Dave Noble's post count now ...

Well Done NM in joining Lindsay Wilson in the Kiloposters Club.

I too feel that Dave Noble will join you fellows in the club soon enough. 8)

Congratulations on reaching the magical 1,000 posts NM.

Keep up the fantastic work. :D

Well, this is it - my 1,000th post. Do I get posting evangelist now :D ????
Sorry to miss this before. :(

Maybe you can have a word to admin so that anyone over 1,000 posts has "posting evangelist" or "posting master" to their name to distinguish them from just average/normal "posting freak".

Or maybe "freaker than most" would be a usable term.

"Freakier than most" ..hmmm

NM, be nice :D
 :(

I was genuinely trying to be really nice after the hard time I gave you on the road to 1,000 posts.

Hey JohnK, it was NM's "Mug" that I took umbrage at :p , not your "freaker than most" comment [let's be honest, my wife and brother call me that, so is that the best you've got :?: ].

Even though I haven't met you, I "know" you through your posts. It's a great way to judge character. I know NM well and I know his was very much tongue in cheek. I give as good as I get. His is coming, he doesn't know when and where (neither do I at the moment ).

I agree, though we all AssUMe. Remember, you thought you knew my profession Lindsay Wilson  .

He he he ... I await with pleasure :p :p .

Now just remember that a mug is a very useful thing when it comes to coffee :D .

I apologise for the delay (I was on a training course).
My heartfelt congratulations to both Lindsay and NM. And thanks to all those who contribute to this board. There have been a couple of distractors, but overall the contribution this board is making is great.

I've been AWOL, so please forgive my ungracious delay in saying CONGRATULATIONS Lindsay on the big 1000!

And of course to NM close behind!

The really unusual thing about this is that you're both posters in whom quality and quantity combine. Everything each of you writes is well worth reading, and I thank you both for your generosity and patience.

icarus and arun, our pleasure (speaking on behalf of NM). Our travel patterns are different (NM almost exclusively International and mine almost totally domestic this year). We enjoy sharing our knowledge because that's what makes the vibrancy of this Board.

I've been away for a couple of days (the joy of having work commitments like going to The Gabba to watch the First Test with clients). Although today's weather looks like it may be a washout :(

Almost :!: The only washout I can see is the West Indian spirits. That man has done it again, 47 runs and 5/48 from 28 overs. :D

West Indies R.I.P.

We have a new leader.

I've just noticed that NM has 1067 posts to Lindsay Wilson's 1066.

Must be all that time you spend at the cricket, Lindsay!

   Opps    . I had not noticed. LW must be busy with something since I have not been around much last week or over the weekend. I am sure he will re-take his rightful place  .

Yes, had Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the cricket then Sunday with Mrs LW. Was only able to post Saturday AM.

Was also away yesterday on a Professional Development Day and after gym last night, was stuffed

I will be intermittant in the next two weeks, as I have a busy next 10 days until a Conference on the Gold Coast Thursday/Friday. won't have my laptop with me and have no personal time during the two days away.

I knew I wouldn't be the number 1 poster for long. It was fun while is lasted. Well done NM. Race you to 2K :D
