Lindsay was the first person on AFF to reach 1,000 posts and he is now approaching 2,000 posts. Lets try to guess when Lindsay makes his 2,000th post.

There is no prize on offer.

Dates & Times are AEST. Guessing closes when Lindsay reaches 1,950 posts, he is currently on 1,835 posts.

Closest guess to actual post time will win - regardless of whether the guess is earlier or later than the posting time.

Hmm, a thread.

Well I'll give everybody some hope....it won't be for a while. I'm snowed under at work (at work now ) and haven't been able to do much posting or moderating in the last 2 or 3 weeks. The joys of 30 June for a financial planner.

I won't be on much at all before 30 June, so I'd be suggesting all guesses be well in advance of that date.

Given that it's the very last forum listed on the Forum Home page (Australian Frequent Flyer Community) maybe many don't get there.

Perhaps 'Playground' should be under 'Community Resouces' rather than 'Other Resources'.

With the new software you can see how many people are browsing a forum and from what I have seen the 'Playground' get's it's fair share of visitors but for whatever reason they do not want to participate. Even the members I would have regarded as regulars have abandoned it.

Not to worry.... No point in putting on contests if people are not going to participate.

I think it comes down to how many contests are being run. Maybe there are just too many of them.

But surely it can't be that difficult for the 9-10 regulars of the 'Playground' to make a prediction and be done with it. I wouldn't call running 3-4 contests simultaneously as excessive.

There won't be another 1,000th thread for a while now as the next few members on the list do not frequent the 'Playground'. The next one I can think of will be AFF's 40,000th post thread starting in about 14 days.

For me, there are too many forum sections. I'm struggling to keep up so I just don't look in a whole bunch of them.
