Possibly but I wouldn't write off Yada Yada yet. :)

Remember closest prediction wins and that means the last 2 on the list have a chance as well.

No. Your predicted time does not finish until August 24, 7:45am at which time it switches over to odoherty.

So all you need is a dozen posts from Lindsay in the next 8 days. ;) Have you ever tried to get blood out from a stone.

Hmmm... you can tell that I am keenly following the T's & C's of these AFF competitions, can't you. I guess I should be paying more attention.

Does Lindsay actually post anywhere any more, e.g. on FT?

I wouldn't worry too much, we just make up the rules as we go. :p

Yes he does, there was a mini-burst from him over the weekend.

Lindsay has been extremely busy with work and family and has not had time to visit this hallowed place much in the last month or two.

My ears must have been burning

Yes, I'm still around - but as NM says (he is well informed of my situation ), life - both personally and professionally, has been hectic. Professionally it's been since the Govt Budget in mid May, when Peter Costello gave many months worth of work to financial planners, most of it initially with clients needing answers by 30 June. Just as many clients have needed advice post 1 July and at present, I have enough work (without talking to anybody new) until end August. On top of this, we are restructuring our business at a time when I could least afford the hours. The only positive is that I have never earnt so much money - alas, I'd trade some of it for a more balanced work/social life.

On the personal side, I negotiated the sale of our house and we are looking for another house to buy (with contemporaneous settlement in mid-November desired); so it has taken a lot of my time on the weekends. Never seen so many nice houses, but as yet "the one" has alluded us.

Yada Yada, this might be your lucky night. As tomorrow is a public holiday in BNE, I'm having tonight "on" my computer tonight on FT and AFF. Alas, work tomorrow for me  but at least I'll have a couple of hours to try and catch up on the last 2 months' worth of posts. Here's to speed reading...

Crikey, Looks like Lindsay Wilson has done it. 2,002 posts and counting.

Congratulations Lindsay on getting to this milestone.

And I am sure the judge will be along shortly to declare a winner

Congratulations on 2,000 posts Lindsay. :)

And the winner is Yada Yada. Congratulations on predicting the correct date and you were only 2 hours 11 minutes short of the actual post.

Re: Lindsay Wilson's 2,000th post??...

ozmark and JohnK, thanks for the congratulations.

Now after that burst, I'll be around again on the weekend, if I can find the time...off to SYD for a 3pm Sunday appointment then back to BNE same night...

Wasn't there a prize for this?? I could have sworn...
