re: Le Club Instant PLatinum Sign Up

Thanks for that, I signed up with no problems! I get the feeling that this is one of the lesser of the hotel programs, but with free platinum status I"m certainly not complaining.

Got an email from Accor today "Sadly Your Moving to Le Club Accorhotels Platinum Status"
Is this a wind-up??
Below that it said :
"But not to worry as you are still a Le Club Accorhotels Platinum member!"
So the question remains: what was I before I got dropped?
FWIW I've had three stays at Pullman's in the last year and diddly squat from any of them ( points posted, perks etc)

I think it is Accors way of telling you that all the levels are worth about the same. Log into your account and see what that says!

Credit a stay and see if you get "Accelerator" points and if so, how many.

re: Le Club Instant PLatinum Sign Up

Well I now have two accounts, the only differences being account number/pwd and email address (and #1 is Silver, and #2 is Platinum).

I have a redemption certificate for the princely sum of USD60 which I 'activated' last October but could not use as planned at Sofitel Sydney as it is not valid for a prepaid booking. So I have a last chance to use it at Novotel Auckland Airport at Easter, about a week before it expires.

Travelling with two friends, and I have decided that rather than use it on my room rate, I'm going to plonk it on the bar for when we arrive around midnightish. Going to book under the Silver number as it seems like potential hassles booking under the Plat number, as the certificate links back to the silver number. I also have ~1200 points left under the silver number, so may as well add a few more. Don't exactly get much as Plat, except a few extra points.

If anyone has experience at 'merging' the two accounts I'd be happy to hear it. Otherwise I'll just build the silver to 2K points (redemption certificate) then can it and use the new one. In any case, there is not much at stake.

I recently merged my two accounts; in fact they have an option called "Combine Your Various Cards" on the "Contact Us" page for that purpose https://s-leclub.accorhotels.com/redirect-contact-email.action?lang=en

This resulted in an e-mail stating that I had to do this transaction via phone, but at least I was then able to contact the right branch.

Result was that the two accounts were successfully merged and e-mail received stating that my new Platinum card will be mailed shortly; since back to Gold on-line after anniversary date, waiting to see what card turns up in the mail.

Maybe we should run a poll on when A Club membership will exceed the earths population with all those multiple account holders ;)

My 2 accounts were an intertwined mess. Took me a couple of emails and now they are merged and I have just the Platinum account.

re: Le Club Instant PLatinum Sign Up

Merged my Advantage Plus Gold with the Platinum without issue, but had to call Advantage Plus rather than Le Club (confusing).

signed up to platinum at last after many futile attempts since i have been reading these pages. i also was able to merge my points - just having the other details merged - i find it strange that you can't change your email details yourself- anyway all that pain should be well worth it.- thanks for the tips

Re: Free Platinum Accor Status current promotion

Apologies for resurrecting old thread but does anyone know of any current promotions for Platinum status?

I am not a Accor hotels member.
