Large increase in fares for flexible and fully flexible?

I was looking at flight prices yesterday and saw BNE to MEL around $350 for fully flexible. They are now $772 fully flexible one way! Business for the same flight is $669. Anybody else experienced these large increases over night? Maybe their new financial year resolution is to squeeze every cent they can.

I booked BNE-MEL yesterday and flexi saver was 359$.

I don't recall fully flexi to be around 350$ in the last 5 years...

I've noticed routes out of Sydney have gone up between 20 and 50 dollars as well

You could also argue it has gone down from the $11000 they were quoting recently :mrgreen:

That $669 is an I class fare (IBIZAP14 I believe). (I is deep discount business)

"Full" J is about $600 more ...
