Just over a week here, but I take it that more and more people requested matches as it became more known, so if you weren’t one of the first, expect the wait to get longer and longer.

And anyway, you’re getting something for free, so it doesn’t matter how long it takes

Matched to Gold here as well, Interestingly they accepted a match against my DJ Gold card even though it wasn't on their list of programs that they would match

Who am I to pass up a free Platinum status match?

Request submitted, hopefully will go through, may come in handy if I ever need to fly through Paris.

Thanks Tuppaware, just spotted this today and applied with WP card. I have no immediate plans to use it, but was ten minutes work and assuming I'm approved I'll have elite status with three programs.

I am feeling inspired this year to try and break the QF golden handcuffs and start choosing the best fare/airline for each trip instead of chasing SC's, but that is easier said than done. Le Flying Blue Platinum should help.

Still waiting here, its been 9 days so far.

11 days for me - applied on Sat, 19th, but I appreciate there has been some weekends and no doubt, exponential applications! Fingers crossed.

Although, without any confirmation of the original request going in, I can't help but ponder whether to resubmit before the cut-off??? :-(

Oh, and I actually do travel to Paris and Amsterdam, so it might actually come in handy. Previously, no status with ST was a deterent to flying between the two and the trains are actually quite good! (as per recent SMH article)

Mine just cleared, 12 days from application which was logged on the evening of the 18th. VS Gold matched to AF/KL Gold.

I received my WP status match confirmation late last night AEST, I believe I applied around the 18th so they are working through the list.

I also didn't get a confirmation during my status match application, so no need to worry yet.

I did my application 18th around midday (Brussels time, I happened to be there at the time).

As of now, still nothing. Re-submitted just in case I got lost in the mess. Shame, I took an AF flight last week and would have liked to have had the status. No plans to fly them till later this year (FWIW, their domestic service was quite reasonable).

My chances of utilising this status are slim, but you just never know.

Thanks. Sadly my 1k post was a cough joke/comment to do with F lounge access. If only my response on RSA and DJ was 1k, then it would have been worthy for such a milestone.

Yes, I signed up on the day this thread was posted and got my match about 10 days later, but if you didn’t sign up right away, expect a longer delay.
