Am I supposed to get some sort of automated email confirming submission for this offer?
I did the submission days ago but so far nada... wondering if I did something wrong and should submit it again...

I only just qualified as WP last week and don't have my new card yet so I cut and paste a screenshot of my QF account showing status along with an explanation as to why I wasnt sending a pic of my card instead. Hopefully this will suffice..

Cheers

I didn't get anything either...

I don't believe any of us have heard a thing. I did mine almost a week ago and i'm still 'Ivory'. I have an AF flight on Saturday so was kind of hoping to have it by then (I wonder if it's worth a call to ask..)

I applied Sunday and haven't heard squat. Obviously the French are handling this and haven't outsourced it to India. I have some DL flights coming up in the next few months and hopefully being silver will be of more benefit then being nothing.

Some folks on mFT who applied for the match last Friday have received email confirmation of their newly minted status - as early as 2 days ago. They're primarily based in the UK and Europe, which might or might not have anything to do with it.

Who knows! I'll keep an eye out (off to TLS today via LHR, awaiting flight in FRA JAL Lounge) then AF tomorrow. Cross fingers.

Not a major reason to hurry for me, I just received my "Welcome to Flying Blue" email this morning with a very prominent Ivory status throughout.

Just received the confirmation email, which I wasn't expecting late on a Saturday evening, so it seems they're getting through the backlog.

Congratulations !

Out of interest, when did you apply? I'm sitting at TLS about to board an AF flight, and i'm still very obviously Ivory according to the page (boo).

Can't remember the exact day but it was last weekend, not too long after tuppaware (thanks) started the thread.
Like everyone else I didn't receive any acknowledgement in the interim, just the basic FB membership email.

For those who were successful did you get a 2011 or end 2012 expiry date? My status on my QF card expires May 2011, I have already re-qualified WP ( mentioned this in the email to FB) but not sure whether this will be reflected in a status match

It's not stated in the email and nor is it obvious when logged in, but from reading the T&Cs it seems it will run until Dec 31st 2011 with a soft landing to the next lower level, providing there's been some miles earned.

1.2.8 On 31 December of each year, the level in the Programme to which a Member is to be entitled the next year will be determined by the number of Level Miles accumulated or the number of Qualifying Flights made from 1 January until 31 December of that same year. The address which counts towards the Member´s level is the mailing address for FB Communication. All accumulated Level Miles and Qualifying Flights will be subtracted from the Member´s FB account, unless otherwise indicated in FB Communication. If a Member has earned no Level Miles during a year, the Member will be downgraded to the base level, Ivory. If a Member has earned Level Miles during the year, but not enough to maintain his current membership level as per the rules defined in these General Terms and Conditions, the Member will be downgraded to one level lower.

I applied 17 March and received approved 26 March

Thanks for that. Based on that assumption, I should be comped Monday. I'll then send my AF boarding pass from todays flight in for retrospective credit (although it'll probably credit as ivory).

I just submitted my partner and my application today as I was in NZ all last week. In their website they said that due to their backlog it would take up to 6 weeks to process applications.

Just received my Platinum Status match via email. Not too shabby for a minutes worth of effort. :)
