Not sure where to post this.

Anyone else having problems getting their money out of shopback? In the past I've never had an issue.

I tried to cash out to my usual bank account in late August. After 8 days or so I raised a support ticket. They verified some details and then a few days later I received an email that it failed. The reasons made no sense as I hadn't changed anything

Possible reasons include:
  1. A Credit Card / Debit Card number was provided instead of a bank account number.
  2. Invalid number of characters for the given bank account.
  3. Bank rejected the transaction due to mismatched information.
  4. For PayPal: Amount was refunded to ShopBack as it was unclaimed.
Kindly update your payment details, request for another round of Cashback withdrawal and we will process it in the upcoming batch of payments.

Tried again and same result. Their support have been unresponsive.

Any thoughts on what recourse I might have? Their support is unresponsive.

My last one was 30 Aug-all as expected

Just checked and my last withdrawal was at the end of August and it all worked fine. Good luck

Just to close the loop on this and a warning to all. I'm going to stop using Shopback. Their customer service is non-existent. They simply do not respond to issues. The only way to contact them is via their support ticketing system and you just get generic responses with no attempt to help.

I eventually got my money out by deleting my bank account details and putting them in again. Makes no sense but I've lost all faith in them as a company. So just a warning to others. If you run into issues, don't expect assistance or even responses. You have been warned!
