Yes. It is just giving me "There seems to have been a slight problem with the database"

FT got linked on a very high trafficed site /. Most sites that get links tend to die in the cough very fast - I'm surprised FT is staying up as much as it is.

FT does receive a lot of traffic normally, so a lot of redundancy is already built into the site. Looks like it doesn't handle well to being /. 'ed.

(BTW, for anyone who wonders what /. is, it's short for Slashdot, a Internet news/discussion site often focussed around Information Technology, but with lots of other news and discussion as well).

The relevant link at Slashdot is Slashdot | Traveler Detained for Anti-TSA Message

As far as I can tell, FT is cactus again.
Yes, although the main .com page is up, giving the impression it's okay.
After checking different browsers and my connection plus using a few Google links, there's only one other option - to try the www8. server (if I can find it).

Cheers.

I can't get a response in any direction from it.

It's been dead the few times I've tried to access it today.

I believe the old workarounds no longer work since the upgrade. Not entirely sure, but had a feeling there was a post about it in the technical section from someone.

No response at all the few times I have tried accessing it today.

Yep, working fine for me as well.

Contrary to my earlier post the workarounds still do work for accessing FT, so I must have misread a post somewhere...

the workarounds weren't working for me earlier, and no need for workaround right now

I just stepped in here to ask exactly the same question. Doesn't seem to work for me no matter which workaround I try.
