IS FT dead?

Now dead here, unfortunately.

However, I keep getting a message from Google that I've never seen before:

Sorry, we couldn't find http://flyertalk.com/forum/forumdisplay.php%3Ff. Here are some related websites:

Does this suggest that hackers are at work here?

And it's alive and kicking again ... :)

Post to your heart's content!

Been getting various things like no response at all and on occassion database problem messages. Anyone else having problems with FT?

Had problems for a while last night (mainly database errors), but was working again this morning for a while - then broke again with general unavailability.

Back up now though.

I was getting database errors last night. Have not tried signing on since.

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I was having similar issues last night.

I can sign in now, but for many forums I have to sign directly in eg. for QF I need to just type www.flyert into the URL field in the browser and select the one in the dropdown list that ends in 498 (for QF). Then, if I click the link near the top for 'airline programs', I get taken to Miles and Points, with some threads directly accessible and other 'grouped' ones (eg. airline programs, airline alliances) with the blue background, refusing to 'work' or do anything when clicked upon.

Weird. And this happened earlier today at work, and is happening now at home (signed in, and not signed in)

So I can visit the forums (fora?) I normally do, it just takes extra time doing it the long way (I don't recall the suffix number for most of them so I have to go one by one).

Is anyone else experiencing this? I'll lodge a 'call' with tech support if it is still happening in a day or two (but cannot believe I'm the only person this is happening to).

They have changed the way that the url's are structured, and are more like the ones here now. I also have the problem, if a group is not expanded, clicking on the link that used to do it now does nothing.

Looks like they have installed vBSEO (as used here) and its broken some stuff

hmmm I can get Onto the main forum page ... however when I click on , say for eg. Airline Programs , I get redirected back to the main forum page. This also happens with a few others such as global airlines, hotel programs.

FT not completely dead; but going slow, its shows as only 1 person logged onto the Qantas forum. Me, not possible, usually see 5-10 people and almost always its someone I have previously met.

Did FT announce an outage, seems like its dead with the internet brands logo saying FT is down.

The page is temporarily down
while we're doing maintenance to improve the performance and user experience

wikitravel.org must either be run by them also, or hosted by the same provider as that is also down (I was googling for something and came across a link there, which gave the same error message).

It is one of the stable of Internet Brands. They have a whole bunch of brands/websites.

Oddly enough, even though FT went dead, I was still getting some emails telling me that my subscribed threads had new posts.
