Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Around 50, with 60% of those being domestic. It works out to roughly 130,000 miles.

It took me exactly 18 days to re-qualify for my silver membership, and I attained gold for the first time not long after!

We should also add in how many FF points we have generated due to the consequences of flying. Ie. not just only the points from flying but points from any hotels, CC expendatures and all that.

:)

I'm a bit of a FF point freak and so I try to maximise my points as reasonably as possible. I managed to get just over 300,000 QFF points in the last 12 months due to the 70 economy flights (1000 points minimun award) and the rest is due to my CC card at hotels (3x at Rydges) and bonus points from Diners (2x) and AmEx (1.5x).

Also just normal non-business expenditure on my CCs.

For me, once I attain the Platinum status in any given year (still got 60 more point to go) the QFF points I get will be more useful to me as I'll use it for a few RTW trips and all that.

Daniel

Well, now that I'm back from my trip, I'll have to add my flying to my spreadsheet and report.

Got a busy January in domestic flights - 8 sectors in 9 days (starting Tuesday)...

The sad thing for me is that 2006 may not be that much quieter plane wise.

I already have 3 trips so far, with another 2 by the end of the month.

Come March/April I am doing 22+ flights in around 3 weeks, thanks to a wedding I must attend and me choosing the longest way possible there! [bne-syd-hkg-bkk-sin-bkk-hkg-lhr (return) + other sightseeing in Europe]

Will be interesting to see how my stats tally up at the end of the year.

Despite a busy travel start to 2006 (YTD 23 flights and over 40k miles), this year will be much less travel for me than 2005.

Lindsay - are you going to do a trip report on your Canada/US/caribbean travels?

Kiwi Flyer, I'll be putting it mostly together this weekend, as I have a quiet weekend in front of my laptop.

Have just started my next trip (did BNE/PER today) and also putting together a TR for this one as well (including 4 flights this weekend, PER/BME/PER on Saturday and PER/KAL/PER).

Have to agree there - Although if I got anywhere near those numbers she would be my ex-wife (or so I've been warned)...

Hi all, am new to this website but am loving the reads already. In 2005 I did 122 flights mainlt to SEAsia, and the US, most BC with QF, some with Thai. I racked up QFF plat renewal within 4 trips to BKK in a space of 5 weeks. MY wife has partner gold as well.

In 2006 I only did 94 flights, again same areas but with a few more domestic trips.

have fun flying in 2007 you all.
