With respect to the tour we have the confirmed 9 below.

@Tassieoptom Platinum x 2
@kookaburra75 Platinum x 2
@Doug_Westcott Platinum
@Delectable Blue Platinum
@CaptJCool Platinum
@Steady Platinum
@alief Platinum.

12 seater Bus has been booked and Mrs Tassieoptom has generously offered to drive us around. Itinerary is a fluid thing at this stage but there are some firm booking like a tasting and tour. This will give us a esitmated cost of $75 per person for the transport and tour. Individual vineyards can have a 'loose or firm' policy of costs for tastings, but these are generally complimentary when purchases of wine are made. Lunch is needed but not massive multiple couse meals which may mean we eat tasting plates at the Osteria on the tour. I think that would be lovely and will get confirmation of that today or tomorrow. If so would everyone be happy to pay for what we want and share it out roughly?

Early itinerary
9.00am meet at Gasworks for 9.15 am leaving time.
9.15am drive to Glaetzer-Dixon Urban winery 5mins drive.
9.20am Tasting at Nick's stunning tasting room atatched to his winery in the heart of the CBD.
10.00am Drive 30mins to Shene Estate for 10.30am tour, duration 60-70mins This will be a tour of the Instaworthy estate buildings with the on site distilery which produces Mackey Whiskey and Poltergist Gin. Tour incudes tastings of all they produce.
11.15am Drive 15mins to Stefano Lubiana Winery and Osteria 11.30 tasting, and light lunch 60mins duration
After lunch plan to drive out to the Coal Valley wine region and visit a couple more wineries, there will be the chance for a little more to eat if needed. I will post details of the afternoon plan. I have included some taste tempting pictures below for the morning plan. I will work on finer details for the afternoon shortly. If anyone has any other wishes of a place to visit please let me know.

Last year for the dinner we booked Frogmore Creeks CBD restaurant called the lounge. Both my wife and I love it, so if no objections we will book it again for the Saturday night. 12 People, 13 if my wife joins us, for the dinner at my last count. We did get very good feedback about the dinner last year, and high votes to return if held again. I am racking my brain thinking about how much it was per person last time, @Delectable Blue do you remember?

Can we just confirm (please) that they have Gluten free options?

For the upfront costs of the tour, $75 per person, can I request payment into the special tour account I have set up.
Account to pay fees BSB 087-250.
Ac No. 780122016. Please use your username in the transaction description. No rush on this but I will prepay the hire bus and Shene tasting tour in advance. Last time we had a couple of last minute no shows which made the cost per person rise a little. And was greater than I got people to pay. So if I get early payment will make things a little more secure for me. Last time I did not come up short overall as some people at dinner put in a little extra so that was a lovely gesture.

Sorry for the delay responding. For some reason I'm no longer getting email alerts about new posts. So I just thought I'd drop by and check where things were up to today.

Anyway, I have now transferred my $75.

And no, unfortunately I don't remember what the split was for dinner last time.

I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone soon.

Cheers!
