Hilton - $50 credit for $250 and above spend on Amex

So I got $50 back on my credit card the other day. Had one stay in Cairns and one at Auckland. Assume the $50 related to Cairns. Used same card for both. Bookings were made via HHonors website, in advance of signing up for this.

What I am looking at is if one has a $135 stay and a $185 stay at a different property for a total outlay on the one registered card of $320 will the $50 credit apply?

As hoped for (and verified by kermatu), two stays with a total on the one card of over $250 has resulted in the credit being applied.

I can confirm as to having 2 separate Hilton bookings totalling at least $250, I have already received the $50 cash back.

Had already booked my stay at the Hilton in Brisbane when the $50 Amex offer came in. 2 days later $50 in my account - wish Amex had more offers like this!

Split my booking into 2 and received 2 x $50 credits.

Anyone had any luck with this clearing in H Syd recently?
I've just completed a stay ( where they charged my card twice but thats another story) and it seems the credit card transaction is coming up under a new ownership company, doesn't say anything Hilton...

Really hoping for that statement credit.
