Usually take 2 to start of with. Max 8/day.

Also suggest finding and taking soluble fibre such as Metamucil as it absorbs the water.

Though if you are able to keep up the fluids and not dehydrated and not having to travel and have easy access to loo in next 2 days then letting it rip is Ok too.

So rheumatologist thinks the CRP is way too high for a simple relapse of PMR and I must have a significant infection. Except I have no fevers, sweats or anything like that. She's stumped. So am I. 🤷‍♀️
So one of the major suppliers of CRP test reagent randomly just decided to stop supply into australia a couple weeks ago ... not giving labs any warning whatsoever to switch to an alternate supplier. Consequently much of the country is running around like mad chickens trying to validate a new method on the fly. I've seen some *cough* interesting results going out recently despite everyone's best efforts.

Might be worth getting checked at an alternate lab just in case.

Wow. Interesting. This is the State Govt lab and the E Sed rate was also high which I think is a completely independent test? (69, <20). Plus Lactate Dehydrogenase Test high. Having another test done Friday. But it will be the same lab.
