Free Free - Two P1 QF lounge digital passes (First Class lounge included) expiring 31/05/2020

Hi all,

I have 2 P1 lounge passes free to a good home:


P1 lounge invitations – access a domestic Qantas Club, Qantas International Business or Qantas First Lounge when travelling onward that day on a Qantas (QF) operated flight with a 'QF' flight number.


I'll humbly defer to a random number generator to select, as everyone has their merits I also don't have many posts myself so have also set what I thought was a reasonable threshold

1. Please post your request here (no Conversation post will be accepted)
2. Member more than 3 months and minimum 5 posts
3. Entries close 10pm AWST, Saturday 21st Sept 2019. Winner announced thereafter by Conversation post
4. Winner must be happy to provide their QFF Membership number and surname via Conversation only. Confirmation that transfer completed will be sent to winner.
The recipient(s) will need to provide me their QFF details (It is just name and QFF no.) to transfer.

ecst, I love your attitude to AFF - I also have benefited an amazing amount from what I have gained here.

You are setting a whole new thing here though - by offering the P1 passes so far out from their expiry dates! That is a very refreshing thing, even though I do not exactly understand it? Perhaps you are like me, who has found that gifting the P1 passes to family/friends is in the end actually painful - people who do not understand these things very well also do not appreciate them either. A couple of years ago I gifted one to a friend of a family member. I did not know them directly myself - but gave them the pass anyway with the sole proviso that they let me know how it went And they never got back to me...

Never again.

I have never actually used these passes for my direct family - we always travel together so with the whole partner-WP thing that P1 brings, lounge access has never needed these. So I decided that in my personal case the best was to quietly gift these to certain fellow AFF members who are avid contributors to the forum, but who do not have WP etc status. I really like your approach in using a "random number generator" to select a winner - that makes very good sense to me. In reality that creates from you a bonus to members of the chance of a pass, but without the complications of pressure and favoritism, etc. Likewise I have never gifted a pass to anyone who has directly asked me for one. So, again, I love your attitude and style!!
