Sign up to Velocity (Via Referral Link), Earn 40 Points, and Each Will Earn 1000 Points (up to 20 Referrals) - OzBargain

Comments under that OzBargain deal noted the ability to sign up to CrownBet Rewards for 5,000 points that can be transferred to Velocity at 2:1 - in other words 2,500 free Velocity Points. (Or you could possibly choose to redeem for other stuff like Crown Gift Cards or donations.)

Join CrownBet Rewards and receive 5,000 bonus Rewards points, valued at $50, to redeem across the CrownBet Rewards store.

Already have a CrownBet wagering account but have not yet joined CrownBet Rewards, you can still receive 5,000 bonus Rewards Points. Simply join CrownBet Rewards here.

Join in under 2 minutes!

*18+. Open to new CrownBet Rewards members.
Wagering account not required. Gamble responsibly

As written above, you do not have to sign up for the wagering account offered during the joining process.

Points appeared within 5-10 minutes and could be redeemed immediately (min 100). Didn't see anywhere to link membership in account settings, just a field to enter the Velocity number when redeeming.

Are the points meant to instantly appear in your velocity account when you transfer? Like flybuys. I redeemed 5000 each for my wife and I but the points are yet to appear in my velocity account.

I believe it mentions 3 days in the T&C.

Following the thread to remind me to sign myself and the wife up when I get home. Thanks.

Thanks for posting this great offer... 2000 Velocity points is equivalent to a $10 iTunes voucher for me! Should definitely help my Apple Music subscription!

CrownBet have been offering the $50 (5,000 points) signup for ages.....

I hadn't seen it posted before.

People really do appreciate those that have this type of knowledge sharing it.

2,500 points is significant. If I'd known about this I would have posted immediately rather than holding back until someone else did and then saying it was old news.

Didn't realise you wanted to know what gambling bonus offers are around.

The CrownBet sign up bonus has been around as long as CrownBet. How long have you been able to transfer them to Velocity? Who knows, I don't. But the fact you can transfer them doesn't mean the $50 sign up will go away....

Just tried this and transfer to VA and it said. This item is unavailable, please try again later.. Too many people maybe and I missed out. Will try later I guess.

I got that as well the first time I tried it. Refresh your page. Next time around the message had gone.

Yes, tried that a few times. I'll keep refreshing. Anyone else verify that maybe it has been slogged to death and they are a wake up to us?

Gday

Dont give up champ. I did it just now and it worked.

These gambling companies can afford to 'give' $25 of chips to any random punter cause the majority of them will give it straight back and with plenty more on top. The frequent flyers will be in the small minority.

Pele.

Thanks all.

7500 Velocity points family pooled and heading for my account. I thought I would need a little rest as maxed out on most card offers but this and the 20K picked up on Aussie Energy were both little unexpected bonuses.
