Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

I got a spend $50 for 500 points at Coles email offer. I should be able to use this on Friday. I also have a weekly coupon for triple points and a double points docket deal. I'll also be doing a tiny top up shop tomorrow so I'm hoping to trigger another docket deal before I do my bulk shopping on Friday. The new month started today so I'm going to do the Tell Coles survey using the top up shop receipt.

Can anyone remember what week it is this week. I've lost track. I can keep up with the pattern of the weekly coupons but I've forgotten where we are in the 12 week sequence.

I have a docket deal for 1,000 points for a $50 spend as well as an email offer for 500 points for a $50 spend. Can I stack both of them in the one $50 shop?

Yes you can, I've done this before and received all the points. Make sure the docket deal gets scanned properly as sometimes the new scanners have trouble scanning them correctly.

I got the same but with $80 spend. Trying to work out if my EDR offer plus using gift cards makes that one better or this one...

I was checking my flybuys account today to check if some base points from earlier in the week had posted.

I looked at my offers and saw a new offer there, waiting to be activated. It was for triple points on my largest shop between Monday 6 July and Friday 10 July. This is an unusual offer for two reasons. Triple points is a normal offer but it usually doesn't cover a Monday to Friday time period and it also wouldn't usually appear this far in advance in my account. I haven't seen an email yet. I'm wondering if it is going to be one of those phantom offers which appears and then disappears.

It will be a useful offer if it does eventuate. I have a 1000 point Week 11 coupon for next Fridays shop for spending $70. I also have a 1000 point docket deal for spending $70 which I will use as well. I'm guessing I will pick up a double points docket deal next week when I do my top up/trigger shopping. The triple points email will go nicely on top of that. I am fascinated by the timing of this email offer. Does this affect the late weekly offers which come out on Wednesday and run from Thursday to Sunday? If I can pick up another usable offer from this email if it arrives it will just be the icing of the cake. I love Flybuys, even if the extra offer doesn't arrive. It is so much easier to get discounted groceries out of flybuys compared to Everyday Rewards.

I have received an email offer for triple points on my biggest shop starting Monday until Friday. I might use it because my week 11 coupon target is too high for this week but we will probably do a small shop on Wednesday.

I have some phantom offers from Coles today. I've just checked my flybuys accounts and I have 4 offers from Coles and one offer from Coles Express in my account which I can't read. The box for more info also leads to a mostly blank screen. I don't have any emails for these offers. I am assuming they are the regular weekly emails. They have a 6 days to go notation but that's as much info as is showing. I don't have a start date so I don't know whether they start tomorrow like the usual offers or whether they start on Saturday after the triple points offer runs out.

I have a feeling that flybuys are changing their targeted offers cycle. They are probably doing this to help the people who complain that there are no good offers from Monday to Wednesday. I guess I'll figure things out eventually and hopefully won't have to change my bulk purchase timing in order to get the most out of the new offers timetable.

If the docket deal doesn't scan you can enter it via the bar code. There's an option ont he self serve kiosks - think it's item code

Annoying to have to enter the 15 digits but if you're going to get 5 to 10 bucks in savings worth the hassle.

One of my FB accounts got an offer for triple points valid monday to friday which I found unusual.

Possibly they will spread the offers out a bit more. Maybe they just need to make them last a week,

Now if they could get rid of the annoying mailed out coupons and just do everything online I'd be ahppy. At least offer an opt in system. Should save them a bit on postage.

The phantom offers are still missing from my account. The only email I have received is the reminder that I still have a triple points offer. Some of the other promotions/offers keep appearing and disappearing out of my offers section. The 100 points for logging into the Coles app was missing earlier today, made a reappearance and has now disappeared again. Some of the insurance offers have been popping in and out as well. The eshop offers have been coming and going as well today. Hopefully it will all be sorted out by the end of the day and I'll know what my offers will be by the time I come to do my bulk shop.

Just before I did my $70 shop today I got another flybuys offer. It was only double points but better than nothing. It's unusual to get a double points offer by email. I guess this replaces the double points docket deal I didn't get yesterday when I did my top up/trigger shopping. The double points offer started today and ends on Sunday.

All the insurance, credit card, eshop and other partner offers have re-appeared in my account, even the 100 points offer for downloading the Coles app.

I hope the phantom Coles Express offer actually appears. I need to get petrol in the next few days and if the Coles offer is better than my ongoing Woolworths petrol offer then I'll use Coles Express instead of Woolworths petrol for my next fill-up

I just re-checked the double points offer. It appears in the tiny print for the offer that the double points only apply to fruit and vegetables. This is misleading promotion. The main screen for the offer doesn't mention it being for fruit and vegetables only. The picture image for the offer is a basket of fruit and vegetables and is exactly the same as the triple points offer image. The triple points is for the whole store. The double points offer says "double points instore" without saying that it is only for certain products. The more info button says something about "fresh" and then in the fine print it lists fruit and vegetables. I did spend some money on fruit and vegetables today so I should get some points but there were other foods I bought which are considered fresh such as bread products which don't seem to be included which looks to me that there are two cases of misleading advertising in the offer details. I haven't received an email for this offer yet. I'm now wondering how bad the email wording will be.

Thanks for this feedback. We've changed the portrayal of this offer on the offers page to make it very clear that the double points apply in this case for fruit and vegetable items; our apologies for this.

I finally got the double points at Coles offer email. It was grouped together with some other health and wellbeing offers. One of them was a triple points on selected OPSM products and it asked for me to activate this offer. When I did I got an "Oops this offer doesn't exist" message. You're not having a good day flybuys. The image and wording for the double points offer hasn't changed on my offers page yet.

I'm wondering about this magazine subscription offer. It indicates I need to take up three offers on the page to get the subscription but there seems to be an exception to the Coles offer. There is only one Coles offer on my email. Does the "one Coles offer" wording mean I only have to take up the double points offer from Coles to get the subscription or have some members received multiple Coles offers with their email but can only use one of the Coles offers to qualify towards the magazine subscription. Once again, I think the wording needs looking at.

Thanks for your feedback. We're investigating the message you received for the OPSM offer; we'll ensure that any activation attempts are registered despite any message members receive. The "one Coles offer" means that if you've received more than one Coles offer you can only use one of the Coles offers to qualify towards the magazine subscription. We accept your feedback that it could have been worded better. The revised wording for the double points offer is now live (you may have to refresh your browser to see it).
