Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Thanks for all of your feedback, which we take seriously as it is important to us that we honour all of our offers in a timely manner. While bonus points for many of the offers at Coles supermarkets are these days added in a day or two, for other Coles supermarket promotions and for promotions with most other partners, points are added within four weeks. We are actively investigating the reported instances with Coles Express, and will provide a further update early next week.

Thanks for investigating the Coles Express situation. I look forward to reading the findings next week.

I am impressed with the prompt payment of the majority of Coles supermarket bonus points offers. Thank you for your efforts in improving this in the last few months.

We've investigated the allocation of bonus points for Coles Express promotions, which have revealed some processing issues for selected promotions in March and April. As a result we will be processing additional points files over the next few days which we will bring points allocation up to date. We're grateful for the feedback on this forum in particular; again, we're sorry that in this instance points were not added within the timeframe we committed to.

Thank you for the feedback about the greatly reduced time to wait for bonus points for most Coles supermarket promotions. We recognise that this tends to highlight the longer waiting time for other promotions, for which we often ask members to allow 4 weeks from the end of the promotion. We aim over time to reduce the waiting times wherever we can; for Coles Express promotions we are hoping to improve the normal waiting time from what some members have experienced recently. Again thanks for the feedback.

Thank you flybys for looking into this issue for us. I noticed that some bonus points from January were posted to my account a few days ago so fingers crossed the bonus points from the March and April promotions will come in the next few days.

I've got two targeted offers for Coke LIfe products at the moment.

The first one is 10x points on any Coke Life product.

The second one is 500 points for any Coke Life product.

There's nothing in the fine print regarding whether these are one use offers or multiple use offers but my gut feeling is that the first offer is multiple use and the second offer is one use only.

I don't really mind. My plan is to use the offer once only if I can find a product with the price I want. The 10x points won't amount to much but the 500 points is worth $2.50 to me. If I can find a Coke Life product for under $2.50 I can get the product for free plus get points on top depending on the price. If I factor in the 10x points I could probably spend just over $2.50 but it won't make much of a difference.

I've also got a week 2 coupon this week for triple points, a docket deal for 1000 points for spending $50 and it's week 4 of the 4 week promotion for my 10,000 bonus points.

I love Flybuys bonus points!!!!

It appears that the cheapest Coke Life product this week is the 1.25 litre bottles. For some reason 600ml bottles are more expensive than the larger bottles. I'm guessing the instore price for the 1.25 bottles is somewhere inbetween $2.50 and $3.00 based on the online price being $3.09. This means I won't be able to get a free coke product but I could get a really cheap product. I'll think about this a bit more before I make the final decision when I'm shopping on Friday.

And you can add another person experiencing multiple "No Posts" from Coles Express.

The potential extensive time delay also acts as a negative - forcing people to keep a record of every transaction - is not my idea of a customer friendly scheme.

Thanks flybuys. I see my missing Coles Express points for April have all posted now. May promos are still to post as are some email April promos for Coles itself but none of these have reached the 4 weeks yet so I will wait to give them a chance to post normally. Thanks again for your assistance.

I paid $2.79 for a 1.25litre bottle of Coke Life today at Coles. Once you factor in all the bonus points I got for buying that specific product I only paid 19 cents overall. If everything gets credited correctly I should get 520 points just for buying this one item from Coles which converts to $2.60 in flybuys dollars.

If you factor in the other offers I had on the total purchase of $50, I probably made a profit on the product. But it could also be argued that I would have spent the money on other grocery items to get the total to $50 anyway so the extra points for the general targeted offers don't really count in reducing the actual price paid for the Coke. I also had a 1000 point docket deal for spending $50, a triple points coupon and a triple points email offer. I also completed week 4 of my 4 week offer for 10,000 points for spending $50 each week.

According to the receipt flybuys will be crediting my account with the 10,000 bonus points within 48 hours.

I got the emails to say that my 10,000 points have arrived but they haven't hit the account yet. I'm guessing they'll be there by 4pm along with all the other bonus points from yesterdays shopping trip. The only points that won't post will be the triple points email ones.

All the points posted to my account just before 4pm. I've converted everything to flybuys dollars so flybuys will pay for next weeks shopping, and maybe more than that if I don't get much next week.

I didn't need very much this week so I just spent $30 and used my week 3 coupon for 500 points, a double points docket deal and a coupon for 150 points for buying a packet of Coles frozen chips.

Flybuys are running another 4 week promotion at Coles. It starts on Monday May 18. My offer was $50 per week for a 10,000 point reward, which is the same as my previous offer. I'll be taking it up again. I haven't spent all of my points from the last promotion but they'll all be used later in the week now.

I have received the same offer as last time. Mine is $70 pw for 10k points. I will give it a miss this time to try and get the target reduced for the next promo and the next set of vouchers.

I cannot understand what's happening with their algorithm but we just got the 4 weeks @ $110 for $50.

Largest spend at Coles in past 6-8 weeks for one card is no more than $47! No spending for a few weeks out of the 6 or 8.

Bah HUMBUG!

EDR wins again - nice lady spent big in front of me today so one of our kids got $179 double points swipe. She NEVER gets an offer - time to check her settings.
