Flybuys Targeted Bonus Promotions

Got this one again, and may again consider it if it's on special.

Does it suggest Coke No Sugar is selling poorly? Perhaps not as it's a targeted offer rather than a general offer.

I saw the regular Coke on special today for $14.10 for the 24 pack and I'm guessing the Coke no sugar is at the same price. The bonus points on top of this would make it a good deal.

I got the offer as well.

Collect 100x POINTS when you purchase Primo Rindless Smoked Prosciutto.

Collect 450 BONUS when you purchase Kroon Dutch Edam, Gouda or Maasdam 200g blocks.

Collect 1,250 BONUS POINTS when you purchase Coke No Sugar 24x375mL pack at Coles.

I'm currently boycotting Coles, I mean shopping at Woolworths until they improve their offers! Currently, my Coles spend levels for bonuses are too high for me....

I received:

Collect 250 BONUS POINTS when you purchase Revlon Cosmetics.

Collect 1,250 BONUS POINTS when you purchase Coke No Sugar 24x375mL pack.

I received:

Collect 250 BONUS POINTS when you purchase Revlon Cosmetics at Coles.

Collect 800 BONUS POINTS when you purchase Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colour - NEW to Coles.

Can't even remember the last time I bought (or used) cosmetics, except for Nivea lip balm (does that count? LOL) and I've never bought anything like "Liquid Lip Colour" in my life and have no intention of starting now. I guess Flybuys/Coles sent this to me just because I'm female, as they certainly didn't get it from my previous shopping history - think I'll be giving this a big miss.

I got the Coke No Sugar offer again and purchased today. Still waiting on points from same promotion last month. Called up and was told points will be credited manually which still hasn't been done.

What does triple points on a shop of your choice mean? I get the offer every week and no triple pounts. Where is the choice?

I’ve only received that offer as a coupon and I scan it when I do my biggest shop. The email triple points offers are on the biggest shop and the system automatically allocates the points.

These offers appear on docket. I didn't realise I needed to scan anything other thsn Flybuys card to trigger the offer.

In order to get the points for a docket deal you need to scan the barcode on the docket deal to get the points. The "choice" thing means you get to choose which transaction you scan the docket on.

Thanks rainbowgirl. That's what they mean on a shop of your choice.

Starts to get very complex. Some offers automatically activated. Some need activation. Some need a secret barcode from a previous shop that you need to carry with you at all times. And then you also need to chase up the points.

Collect 1,000 BONUS POINTS when you spend $50 in store or online at First Choice Liquor!

Not a problem

Spend $70 for 1,000 Flybuys points. Spend target has increased. I may make it this week by buying 2 tins Baby Formula but not likely to make that high a spend in future.

It would appear I have confused the Coke No Sugar offers and have purchased overpriced Coke Zero instead. Think the ".... Coke Sugar free" got me into thinking it was Coke No Sugar. Checked the Coles downstairs and only 1 box of Coke No Sugar and not easy to find and similar to regular Coke except for black on top.

2*$50 over two weeks for 2000 points or $10 (approx 10% back.) Prefer the old FB offers that were 15%+ but still activated, may or may not use

Yes, I got that one as well. I'll probably use it but I agree it's not as good as it used to be. The January offers are usually fairly average so at least this is better than triple points.

As posted earlier,
  • I had a spend $50 for 4 weeks to get 10000 points or $50 off next shop and chose the $50 off next shop which as following posts mentioned in hindsight was not the best option, but nonetheless received.it so all good.
  • But I also received a following $50 off for 4 weeks for the same conditions, so went with the 10000 points option.
  • So, the 1st of those 4 weeks just happened to be the redemption of the $50 off next shop, looking back later I received no FB points, however shopped normally for the following 3 weeks getting FB points.
  • At the end of the 4 weeks, no 10000 points, so rang up to query expecting that they would say I didn't "spend" $50 in the first week with my ready reply I had no choice, you deducted it from me so I did.
  • Luckily, the lad on the phone saw my side and said yeah, we'll fix this up and has subsequently did as he mentioned that there was some sort of bug or swine flu in the system.
  • If I didn't call up it wouldn't have happened.
So really an FYI on my life changing experience.
