Fly Buys Docket Deals

I've received a couple of docket deals this year for Liquorland. I've only shopped there once in the last year so I don't know why they think I'm going to buy more alcohol there. Has anyone else received the Liquorland docket deals? Has anyone received docket deals this year on regular groceries?

Yes I received an alcohol one yesterday. Triple fly buys on my next purchase at Liquorland.

After doing a shop on Friday and activating a triple point spend coupon and getting a 18c fuel voucher, also received a 2 for 1 offer on WAHU Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 750ml Docket Deal. Two bottles of wine for $13.

I seem to recall base price is higher than opposition outlets and that can mean savings are not actually that great

I have only shopped at Liquorland once in the last 6 months because of the high prices. However later this month I do have a 5 dollars off a $50 spend I looking to use on something that is on sale.

BWS has had so many sales, bonus point offers and gifts the last 3 months, Liquorland needs to dramatically lift their game. However the best purchases are always at Dan Murphys or First Choice Liquor.

I made a small purchase at Coles today and ended up with a docket deal at the bottom of the receipt. The docket deal is for Coles Express. Spend $2 at Coles Express on instore goods and receive 200 bonus Flybuys points.

By spending $2 instore I would get an extra 2 cents off at the pump. If I add this extra petrol saving to the value of the bonus points I would actually save more money than the value of the $2 chocolate bar or whatever I spent for $2.

Has anyone else gotten a docket deal like this from Coles recently?

I received a targetted email offer from Flybuys tonight and there was a note at the bottom of the email which said "Make sure you check your docket for even more savings and BONUS POINT offers". Next to this was a "Docket deals Coles" logo. I'm hoping there will be some deals I can use. Has anyone received any interesting docket deals lately?

I've been seeing signs and emails saying that docket deals were back but yesterday is the first one I've had in a while. It was for 30% off on one of the chicken products in the meat department. Strangely it wasn't something I had bought before but it might have been triggered by the fact that I buy frozen chicken products. I was in the same store later in the day chasing up a problem from my earlier trip and they didn't even have the specific product that was featured on the docket deal. I'm guessing like most fresh products the stock varies from day to day. If it's there next week I might give it a go. The saving would be useful but I think I like the points better.

The best one I've got was when we forgot to swipe the Flybuys card; 500 points at your next transaction (no min spend)....bought milk, so 500 points for $3.99 :D

Yes, I noticed that docket deals get printed even when the flybuys card isn't swiped. I have seen a few receipts lying around the carpark which had Liquorland deals and no reference to a flybuys number. Well done with the 500 points.

By the way, has the 500 points posted yet? I have had no end of trouble getting flybuys to post my bonus points.

It was only yesterday, so not yet. Havent really kept an eye on how long it takes points to post, though I did notice it took a while for my car insurance points to come through. I'll just hang on to the receipt until they show up.

I ended up having to make a purchase at Coles for under $2 yesterday. Just as an experiment I decided not to swipe my Flybuys card (used Amex for the purchase though). I ended up getting a docket deal for Liquorland, buy one get one free for selected products. I was hoping for a points offer on general groceries.

No sign of these bonus points so far so I'll need to chase them up. Am I right on guessing tr only way to get in touch with fly buys is by phone?

I bought olive oil last Friday. Checked my account and 1000 points already posted. Must be a new record.
