Just landed from a flight from Perth to Sydney.
- excellent boarding procedure, 3 rows at a time.
- excellent communication from airport staff and airline staff.
- fantastic flight crew, looking after all passengers including those with dietary requirements.
- BOOZE!! Wine and beer available for free for economy passengers
- food offering, pie or vegetarian option. Small but appropriate for lunch.
- passenger on flight polite and respectful.
- baggage collection, not great effort on passengers to social distance.

overall, fantastic experience given the circumstances.

Thankyou for the Report.

It seems Coast to Coast services may not have been cut as much.

Sounds like better food than was offer in J as reported by someone else last week.

Forgot to mention, entertainment available! On a 737-800 in economy! BYO headphones. Tea and coffee also available.
Flying back to Perth next week, business class. (A330-300) will post another quick review then.

Flying back to Perth WA. Is it 2 weeks in hotel quarantine?

Sure is, trip was for a family emergency so had to be done

Curious if this was interstate or intl travel? I'm coming into WA 10 July from NSW and been approved to self-isolate at parent's house in the south west. Interested to know if they can change their minds and force you into hotel quarantine. I'm one of those travellers who needs to think about every possible situation!

Thanks for the gov info re coming into WA OZDUCK.

I want to go into Darwin once NT opens borders but no good reason except every year I am able to ensure I have 'endless summer" up there and have a place. Used to work there 30 years. Not this year by the looks. Because I want to make sure I can get back to WA quarantine free. However NT-WA should form a bubble with only joining border opening as we are both clear of community transfer and have similar issues protecting indigenous communities etc. Only WA cases are those locked in hotels. Heres hoping.
from the documentation.....
I was sure all fly in -out WA workers (+- families) were told to get over here before borders shut. Not anything about exempton later as in the gov advice.

I assume you had an exemption to travel. Do QF check this when leaving PER? What about for the return sector? How is it enforced? Ie, how do they prevent pax from travelling to PER if you don't have an exemption?

I’ve just posted the return J leg Sydney to Perth in a seperate thread. Similar to the OP on this thread, great service as always from qantas
