Not being a champers man, I take the OJ for breakfast. The Shiraz is just a smidgen too heavy with the salmon....mmmm perhaps I should try a Pinot Noir for breakfast... That has me thinking now.

I don't understand either. I have only just discovered hand cream in the amenity kit on board!!

Are you talking about the Malin + Goetz hand cream? That is the best hand cream around bar none in I get really dry hands after washing them with soap, and this is the only hand cream I can find which works for me.

Only problem is that the only Malin + Goetz stockist locally has never got themselves together to actually order me a tube despite asking several times.

Hmmm, had this in the SYD FLounge a few weeks ago, but I really didn't enjoy it. The sauce was almost fizzy, and didn't taste anything like hollandaise sauce to me. It wasn't at all creamy. I nearly sent it back ... nearly

I can honestly say I get better at my local cafe.

Maybe it was a one-off.

Just give me a Dk4 type breakfast except with the eggs on muffins along with bacon with a little smoked salmon. ... oh! and a glass of Tatt!

Actually I know what I am missing and I am not missing anything special at all. Do remember that I have had food in the F lounge a number of times and I do not rate the food that highly. Perhaps that is just me though.

As for eggs, there is only one person who knows how to make eggs the way I like them. Me! Nah, I am serious. Heat small non-stick frypan, melt a little margarine, break 2 eggs into frypan and allow to cook for ~1 minute (perhaps less), turn over so you have 2 eyes and cook for another 30 odd seconds and then break the eyes and let the yolk run and cook for a little but so yolk is still liquid and do not let become solid. Sensational....

Do not know about the Syd F lounge but in the Mel F lounge, the eggs Benedict with a side of smoked salmon and 2 glasses of Taittinger are very nice.

Also the SPS (Salt and Pepper Squid) in Syd is battered versus in Mel it is not, so the recipes / training are different.

True but margarine is quite ok as well considering we do not buy butter.
