Looks good.

Im doing a QF/BA code share to LHR through HKG... Can I use this lounge both ways, or only when my outgoing flight from HKG is QF metal?

edit... Assuming its finished in time of course.

Very swanky. I hope the Singapore First lounge gets a similar makeover.

Looks good.

A little more information is needed. What class of travel? What is your oneworld frequent flyer status (eg. Qantas Platinum; BA Gold)?

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

IIRC it opens late this year. It's a QF (OW) lounge therefore, open to all with appropriate status or the very best BP one can fly with.

Apart from the choice of colours, it looks a bit like the J Wing, minus the noodle bar, the coffee lounge, and the nice cosy section downstairs. Think I'll continue to use the CX lounges in HKG.

the old f lounge is in need of a make over, thats for sure...

looks very good, i hope they fix up the shower pressure problems they currently have.

Just exactly how many QF flights have F from HKG each day? 1?

Yes, I know WP's can use it too...

It's supposed to be a QF/BA op lounge, but you probably wouldn't think that except for the Speedbird mark at the reception.

The latter has 2 services a day, and QF supposedly moved to codeshares on at least one of these as part of its "Stronger Qantas" restructure of routes.

What's interesting is that it clearly has no "restaurant" section.. wonder if that will come through or if there is a new service concept?

Looks like there is a small section of 8 tables for dining.

Maybe hard to tell from the plans. But is looks quite tightly packed for a first class lounge. I guess to a degree you have to work with the available space.

Also surprised at the capacity. Seems to have similar seating capacity as Melbourne first lounge. Yet I expect it would not have same amount of eligible passengers that could use it.

It uses the same space of the previous First class lounge which was the previous Business and first class lounge - even to the central column with TV monitors etc.

So roomy enough - not much smaller than MEL First lounge.

Yeah, that in front of the old area where the self service buffet was.

The black walls/floor, marble QF logo and the green is very CL :D It is a shame that QF dumped the HKG-LHR leg :( I just wish that they prioritised LAX but alas all the inferior OWs use it :D

Replace the lime green with orange - and black, silver, cream and orange....

Needs some Qantas red somewhere

I wish the had a fast exit to gate 16/17 rather than walking all the way around via the DF shop

It mentions the new F lounges in Hong Kong and Singapore... Wasn't there one planned for LAX as well or is this wishful thinking on my part? Would guess it'll come with the upgraded Tom Bradley terminal- anyone know more?
