Hi all.
We have discovered a systems issue which is resulting in the inconsistent allocation of Points and Status Credits on Virgin Australia bookings with more than one person travelling.
A fix has been identified and will be implemented as soon as possible. Once the fix has been successfully deployed, all affected bookings will be reprocessed and missing Points and Status Credits will be allocated.
If you require your Points or Status Credits urgently, please call the Member Contact Centre (13 18 75) where our team will be able to assist you.

Still nothing here.

So far I have:
Waited 10 or so days
Made a retro claim online
Waited several more weeks
Rung the platinum line only to be told that the system for retro claims was down and i'd have to call back again
Read this thread and decided to wait again

... and still waiting.

Not exactly efficient is it?

I would be sending a PM to the VFF rep. I have found them to be very helpful

I've had a very difference experience

Waited about 6 days after points for one person on the flight where credited
Read this thread
Posted retro claim online (Noticed error)
Read this thread (same error)
Called Platinum line and had points and status credits credited right away + for family member without having to talk to them
All points and Status credits after 7 days.

On the plus just received some I didn't know I had missed from about 2 months ago which made me think VFF had fixed the IT issue

Hi all,
We have started to reprocess bookings affected by the system issue we identified and all accounts should be credited by Tues 31st. If you still havenot received points after this time, please raise a missing points claim orcall 13 18 75.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience

Points finally came through over the weekend!

I have fights from my wife too Eggs, but Virgin is yet to recognise them. I might change to the red gloves?!?

sorry Eggs, I wasn't being serious. You typed fights and missed the 'l', I just threw in some pugilist humour. On the serious side, my came through too - some odd figures but I'm well past my May 7 review date target so all is good.

Base points for both are WAY to low and the bonus for my wife (Sliver) just makes no sense at all.
I'm in Europe for 3 weeks and would prefer not to have to call .
Booking is [FONT=wf_segoe-ui_normal]

is it part of a international journey ? if so you earn at points per mile on the CBR MEL leg so that's why would look so low

So really funny you should ask that. When I looked it up on my Velocity account it has merged with a completely separate Singapore reward booking. Maybe because we had the bags tagged all the way though. However this booking was seperste and paid for vs reward and one booked though Virgin and the other though Krisflyer

Looks like the IT Gremlins are at it again.
