I've just seen the largest targeted bonus point offer ever from Woolworths Rewards and Woolworths mobile.
It's offering 96,000 Woolworths Rewards points which is equivalent to $480 Woolworths Dollars.
Of course, there are lots of catches.
The 96,000 points are paid at 4,000 points per month ($20WWD) and in order to get the points you have to sign up to a mobile phone plan for 24 months.
The cheapest plan amongst those offered in the deal is $70 for the phone plus 8 GB of data. This works out as a $50 per month plan once you take into consideration the return in Woolworths dollars. The cheapest plan before the cash back is $1680 across the 24 months.
I have no idea whether $50 for 8GB of data and a phone is a good price so I don't know if it would be any use to other members.
I pay less than $20 per month on my mobile phone on prepaid charges so the offer isn't any use to me.
It says on the Woolworths Mobile page that I get directed to that it is only for a selected amount of members so it sounds like it is a targeted offer. It's the first targeted offer I've seen with branding under both Woolworths Rewards and Woolworths Mobile.
