Emirates J check in counter with QC

In any case you appear to be on an EK flight number on QF metal. Just check in with the operating carrier (QF) in the QP line or alternative as referenced earlier.
If on EK metal, can one check in at the QF counter? I thought not but never tried.

I misred. EK check in would be as per class of service in this case.

QF*EK gives very little to a QP member and nothing on check in.

I thought that the OP’s question was reasonable but that some responses seemed a bit “der, why would you think that” in tone.
The EK/QF tie in when it happened was promoted as the next best thing to sliced bread and you could easily assume that benefits at QF would carry across. I guess the bread just got stale with QF going back to SIN so whatever benefits there ever were ( like the upgrades many scored) have disappeared.
