Overnight I received not one but TWO points offers- 250 points for $25 of meat at woolies and 200 points for $30 of back to school at big w.

I don't "need" either but have activated both and will probably end up getting them both as a way to show woolworths that my spend is greater when they give points.

Woo hoo, have they had a change in Management?

I got this email at 11.24pm last night:

"get bonus points for back-to-school gear at BIG W"

"You'll receive 200 bonus points when you spend $30 on schoolwear, backpacks, lunchboxes, lunch snacks, stationery, children's clothing, footwear, underwear and even socks."

That is an easy 200 points. Hopefully the first of many.

Then at 12.50am, I get my second offer:

"250 points for $35 meat"

I am glad I was lying down when I read it this morning. Already plotting my purchases...

As I have been very vocal with my feedback against fuel offers, I have activated this offer. My local WoW Liquor has just been rebranded BWS so I hope that helps with the pricing. It kinda helps that I am drinking my last Crownie tonight and am ready for a change.

Now it remains to be seen if there is more than one offer to this "EDR spring".

Interesting, my offer was for 200 points for a $20 spend.

Maybe WOW has started listening to the feedback re points instead of fuel offers. Hopefully enough ppl take advantage of these so the bonus points keep rolling in.

We got the meat offer, interestingly this one seems to have several variations,

250 points / $20 spend
250 points / $25 spend
250 points / $35 spend

We also got the Back to school offer from Big W 200 points / $30


I agree with you LW, such a radical change (i.e no points offers for 3 months +) and now we are all getting multiple offers for points, makes me wonder if the work experience kids are heading back to school, either that or there has been a management change at WOW / EDR


Hopefully the general public clowns out there don't start complaining "WHERE ARE MY FUEL BONUS OFFERS" and ruin it for the AFF community :shock:

Well I have just shopped my three offers:

750 bonus points
87 EDR points
267 CC points

1104 points for a $178 spend giving 16c/pt which is pretty woeful, considering I could fly MEL-SYD for the same or better cost/points. However on the whole I was buying things that I needed so the cost was there anyway. The alternative was ~200 FlyBuys and 267 CC pts. :-|

Now to see, as I have said before, if this is a one off or a return to the EDR QFF offers of old.
