Had me worried there.
I bought meat yesterday hoping for the points. Just read my T&C and yes it started yesterday the 24th. Phew! all good.

Finally used my Christmas voucher, and while I may have chosen the voucher over an easy 1000 points, I think they can see what I was really after.

Just got home from the shops and scored the triple at Woolies.
The meat one ($30 for 250 points - included $10 off legs of lamb - BBQ and Roast sorted for the weekend); Mixed drinks for the Good Lady ($30 for 200 points) and a bonus 20c voucher for buying beer which was already on special (= 10ppl on 60+ litres = 600+ points)
Add the visa card points, EDR regular points, a 4 day weekend and everyone's happy!

Happy Australia Day everybody :)

Same to you.

I've started well too. 2 slabs of beer 300 pts, plus Amex 127.5pts plus 20c petrol voucher (60 x 10pts) 600pts and I've still got the meat offer to go for another 250pts +

Same shopping as stewiejp and robd, completed tonight.

$44 of stationery from Big W (a bit above the $30 minimum) has netted me 200 bonus points, plus 14 standard and 66 Amex points.

$35.70 of meat from Woolies for 250 bonus EDR points (plus 5 standard and 52 Amex points).

Final store for the night was BWS and 2 cartons of Carlton Dry for $78. 20c paper voucher means 10x litres on next fill, so gives me a minimum of 450 EDR points. 48 standard points and 117 Amex points.

Okay EDR, you showed me the love and I returned the favour. Onto next week :D

Total haul is a respectable 450 bonus points, 517 standard and 235 Amex points for spend of $157.70 - not too bad ;)

Lindsay, what do you mean by paper voucher? Do you mean there was a note on the receipt to say the voucher had been added straight away to your account or did an actual voucher print on the receipt? If the voucher was actually on the receipt I would have been worried that the EDR card hadn't scanned properly.

Rainbowgirl, the old fashioned fuel offer on a receipt. Haven't used one of these in ages:

Does that mean with a paper voucher you only get the discount or you get still get fuel points?

Fascinating. I can see everything worked on your everyday rewards account. Thank you for showing us this. I'm trying to figure out how you'll get your points for petrol arrangement from the voucher. The voucher says, if I'm remembering the image correctly, "Not to be used with any other fuel offer". If you swiped an EDR card at the pump it would automatically use a voucher from the card. Perhaps in this case you present the voucher and then give the attendant the EDR card to swipe in order to link the voucher to your account settings. Good luck. Sorry if it sounded like a silly question. I just don't want you to miss out on the points.

whatmeworry, my thoughts exactly. I have a feeling that it will only give me the cpl discount and not the points :(

Rainbowgirl, will be holding onto it to use it closer to the date of expiry as I have two 8c offers in my EDR account now:

When I went earlier, and scanned my EDR card, the 20c discount was credited to my card. This was stated on my receipt and when I got home, already on my EDR account. No barcode discount on my receipt as it was credited to the EDR card.

Hope this helps.

I'm going to guess that you made your purchase at a Woolworths liquor. I noticed that the promotion was available at both BWS and Woolworths liquor. Perhaps their systems are set up differently and that's why one voucher ended up on the EDR card and another voucher for the same offer ended up as a paper voucher.

Finally got something...20c for buy 2 slabs of alco. Got enough in the fridge and wine rack for the moment. And already got a 20c to use.

Yes rainbowgirl, I made my purchase at a Woolies Liquor, which is now a BWS (re-branded a few weeks back I think), but it's attached to a Woolies in any case, not a free standing shop.

I wonder if you rang EDR whether they'd load the voucher onto your card if you pointed out that you have them converted to points rather than a discount...
